Thank you for joining the opening of the exhibition this weekend, making it one of the busiest nights at Bunkern Gallery so far. It felt great to share the highlights of my student years in Örebro with those who supported me on the way and to see new eyes on my work as well.
Today me and Remco match our work aesthetically. He is working on his new album 'Rural States' that will be released this winter and I am preparing screen prints that will be released next week on Friday, as part of my exhibition 'point of view' at @konstbunkern.
See you there!
On this particular day- Im feeling like very happy and lucky to be where I am. Just looking back on the last few years of my life and the journey I’ve been on. Making. It. Freaking. Happen.
ENJOY THE PROCESS MY FRIENDS

"The bathroom is a place of physical care taking. It is a place of retreat, were in the safety of privacy one cleans the body and rinses of the masks worn to adapt to public situations. It is therefore also a place of confrontation; the bathroom leaves no possibility to deny realities of the body. Normative imperfections or shortcomings must be dealt with or nursed. Physical conditions, changes or insecurities must be faced."

Today I'm channeling #1780s
hair for a historical fashion show in Raleigh, NC (photos later!) and found this #1785
Portrait of Lady Rowley by John Hoppner particularly charming and inspirational. The hallmarks of early-to-mid 1780s hair are a softening of the styling, volume moved to the sides of the head (vs the top of the head in the early 1770s) and you often see long curls on the sides of the neck and some type of dangling hair in the back.
I'm on the train to Malmö now for tomorrow's vernissage at Slätten's vårsolanche. It opens 1 o'clock. Two of my pieces are on show there; "shower head" and "obscured". Swipe to see them!
