Healthy and Hearty. The Lentil Soup. A compliment to any meal or great on its own. Found in our Middle Eastern Menu. #lentilsoup
First time visiting @la2mooshi
had to try their lamb kabob
I have to admit, I don’t remember the last time I had a doner kebab, but this evening I really felt like trying out the well known GDK (@germandonerkebabuk
) chain. So we headed out to the Fulham branch, the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, and the service fast and friendly. The menu has features some interesting variations of the classic donor from the doner burger to the donor quesadilla! I opted for the original German beef Doner Sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived- the meat was good quality and a far cry from the greasy, fatty doner meat I recalled tasting in the past. They were great sized portions too with a decent quantity of meat and salad. The bread, which seemed to be a naan style bread made in a waffle maker, was soft yet robust enough to contain the meat, salad and the tasty sauces without overpowering or seeping through.
Along with yummy sides of cheesy fries and chilli cheesy bites, this was a really satisfying meal.

Plutôt Lapinou ou Chaton ?
You have to try this chocolate. Apparently all of their chocolate is handmade by the owner (Alicja) and they have a huge variety of flavors. Definitely tasted different from store bought chocolate and staff is friendly. They have two locations , one on Bank and on in Rideau.
Be honest, who puts crisps in their sandwiches...? 🙋🏻♂️🍔 Not me, but I get the instinct, now imagine that in a burger, a ‘Nacho Libre’ burger. Smoked Mexican cheese, red pepper & onion salsa and crispy nacho chips. YESSSSSS 🤤 #londonfoodee

How is the food? From the dishes we tried, overall the food! The question is, with a menu of cuisines, how will it remain consistent on flavor 🧐 that we shall see!

For an animal to go from farm to table as halal food, it must have lived a pure life from the very beginning, finishing a cycle of life that is permissible in accordance with Islamic standards. It must have eaten well, been treated well, and been sacrificed well. It may sound good in theory, but what does this all mean?
The kind of treatment and feed an animal receives during its life is important. It should be not be abused, mistreated or caused any pain. It should not be confined to an area where it cannot move or walk normally or get fresh air. It should be fed clean water and food that is appropriate and absolutely never fed another animal or products that contain the by-products of other animals.
As an animal should be treated well during its life, it should also be treated well at the time it is sacrificed for us. The slaughter should never be done in the presence of other animals and the animal should be made comfortable as it is positioned for the sacrifice. The act of the sacrifice should be done with a sharp object, so as to accelerate the process and reduce the pain suffered by the animal as much as possible.
An amazing result of cooking and consuming halal meat is a healthy meat in which the resulting texture is tender and the meat delicious. Some people say they can “taste the difference”.
Treating our bodies with wholesome foods free of harmful ingredients — pesticides, toxins, pollutants, filth, etc. — is not just a value desired by Muslims, it’s desired by all of humanity. It’s a common need, a common desire and a common right, and that means everyone can benefit from consuming halal foods and avoiding what is not.

Membaca basmalah, demi mengharap keberkahan dan mencegah syaithan ikut makan bersama kita.
Dari Ummul mu’minin A’isyah Radhiyallahu ‘anha ia berkata Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,
Jika salah seorang kalian makan, maka sebutlah nama Allah.
Dari Abi Hurairah
ia berkata,”Nabi tidak pernah mencela makanan sedikitpun. Jika Beliau suka, Beliau memakannya. Dan bila tidak suka, Beliau meninggalkannya. .

Tender Argentinian Beef 🥩 from @tomhixsonmeatlondon
which was so easy to cook because the beef itself didn’t need much effort! I cooked mine medium with some basic seasoning and it was deliciously tender 🤤 I also cooked some well-done and even then it was still so tender! I have a fear of chewy steak since I nearly choked on some from a restaurant, but the quality of this meat is very high as it is from grass-fed & free-range cows👌🏼 All I made with it was creamy mushroom sauce, mash and steamed veggies 😍 if you’re a basic chef like me but want to make something impressive then trust me you can cook this too! Link for the full mushroom sauce & steak recipe plus more info on the cut of meat is in our bio ⬆️ p.s. you can get £10 off all orders over £50 with the code HFL10 🙌🏼 #halalfoodlondon #tomhixsonmeat
If you’ve driven down Belgrave road you may have spotted Cafe Delhi. It stands out from the crowd as a slick modern cafe with inspiration from Indian culture. The Indian inspired decor inside is stunning and this is complimented by Bhangra and Bollywood music in the background creating the perfect atmosphere.
As with most places on Belgrave road Cafe Delhi is vegetarian but don’t let this put you off, the vegetarian cuisine in Leicester is a must for everyone!
There menu consists of Indian street food, various mains including vegetarian grills and curries. We couldn’t decide what to go for and so we ordered the Thali. A Thali is an Indian meal served with a variety of dishes, giving us the opportunity to taste a wide range of curries including Paneer Makhani, Daal Makhani and Punjabi Kadhi Pakora. You only get a small portion of each dish but they can be quite filling - although if you’re a big eater I’d recommend ordering some extras from the street food menu (maybe some Pani Puri or Pau Bhaji).
Having visited a couple of times now one of the main things (other than the chic decor) that sets it apart from the other restaurants on Belgrave are the prices (which are higher) and portion sizes (which are significantly less).
However the main sticking point for me was the poor customer service. We arrived on a quite Sunday afternoon and the staff seemed more concerned with setting up for the evening then catering for their current guests. This had a significant effect on our experience and has affected my rating.
Let me know how you found it in the comments 👇🏾
How’s that taste? ☺️
Price: Thali £10.95
This is a vegetarian establishment
to see where you can find us this week Friday and Saturday! We’re hitting 2 new spots and we’re super excited to feed the foodies 🍔🍗🌶👌🏿
