Obviously I did not come to US without the hiking intention. 5 days camping in Yosemite, -6 Celsius at night in the tent surrounded by coyotes, bears and mountain lions (pumas) with last-day 30 km hiking from 1300 to 2700 m elevation ending up in terrifying unsecured (low season) Half Dome climbing. Pure beauty!
Day 2: Half Dome Hike
Stop at Emerald Pool
About 5 more miles until the summit
Like a cliffs edge,
Fills me with life and fear at the same moment.
If I fall will it feel like forever?
The forever of a dream. 🌹 @idletheory
Back up to Yosemite in a couple weeks for another backpacking trip, except this time it’ll be below freezing temperatures and a lot more hiking in the dark than usual. Worth it? Always 🤙🏼⛰ #Yosemite #halfdome #backpacking
Frigid and windless night up at June Lake🥶🏔
Worth camping in 18° weather? You tell me. || Yosemite Valley, California
, my version of Happiest place on Earth™. I came back to settle unfinished business with #HalfDome
Just a rock that everyone seems to enjoy. When I was there, I wanted to capture Half Dome from a different angle, or at least not from the same place everyone gathers to shoot. I just wanted to capture how iconic this rock is, and why you just stare at it when you’re there.
Who wants to go back?
Trust in your Journey 💞 Sometimes we can make the process more complicated than we need to. That journey of 1000 miles (1609km 🤣) that lies ahead of you will never be accomplished by fretting about how long it will take or how hard it will be. The time is going to pass anyway and we make the journey by taking each day step by step then repeating until we reach our destination
🌪💪🏼 Next minute you’re up the top of Half Dome conquering Yosemite ❤️🌪 🏃🏻♀️
What life Hike are y’all on right now???
