Coming off an all night flight with no sleep and a rather 13 mile overload last week, todays run was always going to be short.
As you might have guessed, I'm not in Perth. Any ideas based on this very landmark free image? (Answered in my stories but at least try work out the country first!). Winner gets a signed copy of the book I haven't written yet!

I saw this quote and was thinking about it a lot this morning. To some, my PR’s might seem average. To others maybe they seem fast... who knows 🤷🏼♀️ but the point is to train to be the BEST VERSION of yourself. Train to continually improve by your own set of standards, and don’t train to be average. Train to go ABOVE AND BEYOND 🚀🚀 any self imposed limits you’ve set for yourself. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
You can’t compare your journey or capabilities to anyone else. Be proud of what you’ve accomplished and strive to constantly get better!
Sometimes you have to go back to basics and start again. Having awesome friends who share the same passions and being able to complain to your coaches when you feel a lack of progress! 12 weeks after dialing in my macros, exercising daily and letting myself feel the frustrations of body composition change..I’ve still got a way to go. It was great to get back on the track today, legs felt good, the session felt good, so I’m feeling good🤗 After talks with the coach today, it looks like I’m going to give that half marathon PB another crack before the year is seen out 😬😬🤞It didn’t take much to twist my arm 😂

Slept in this morning... then a change of plans with baseball practice meant pushing back my workout more than I planned. Just a weird day. Totally thought about skipping, but thought about how awesome I knew I'd feel if I pushed play. So I did ❤️
5 MORE DAYS! Time flies like a mofo when you are having fun 😹 I’m hoping to PR this race but I know ultimately I will be happy knowing I did my best and that I trained hard and kept consistent these last 4months! I joined two different run clubs this season @soflorunners
! Two amazing organizations with awesome people to learn from and train with. You guys have given me life back into my run game Bc honestly earlier this year I was in what I call a “running rut” I was just not motivated to go out and run and didn’t work out that much😭😿 💀Finding groups of people with similar fitness goals has been so inspiring and I pick up little tidbits from everyone so I thank you all and hope to make you proud Saturday ✌🏽♥️🏃🏽♀️ Maybe I’ll even make it on the flyer again lol LET’S DO THIS

First half✅ (crazy bc I’ve done two full 26.2)🤪
Although my training wasn’t 100% how I planned, I still managed to finish (faster than I anticipated).
Side note, but I’m extremely happy with this because post ACL reconstruction surgery, my doctor said I wouldn’t be able to run more than 3 miles and I proved to myself that the runner in me was still there. •
This is just a reminder to myself that I can get through anything. •
