This New-Moves Monday, one of my favorite full-body moves is the one-legged deadlift. This exercise is most commonly seen for me on glute day, but it incorporates so much - balance, flexibility, strength, hamstrings, quads, abs, lower back and core (not to mention all the smaller muscles of the core, hips and ankles it takes to stabilize for this move) - that I routinely incorporate them for clients. These can be done without a weight (and close to a nearby wall or bar) to focus on balance or with a heavier weight to challenge the hammies, glutes and core. It's one of my favorites, but like all exercises, it requires some practice and attention to form! -

TODAY IS LEG DAY So on my leg day I normally run a mile to a mile and a 1/2 and do leg curls, leg extensions, leg press, calf press, hip thrusts, squats vary between regular, narrow, sumo, and goblet, split squat lunges, weighted lunges, box jumps, and much more!
