The Channing Bow in our white leather with gold polka dot ✨ This leather is so fun! If polka dots are your thing then this is a must have!! ⠀
Today has been all about weaving in ends and joining squares. I have completed 16 blocks of 12 squares each, and it looks like I need to do another 8 blocks before I can start the border. That's 288 squares all in. Will it ever end? I'm bored of it now and want to start the next project! That's #widn
thank you for asking @silverypaws
- more or less the same as you - what else are Sundays for? 😊 Would any of my other friends like to share what they've been up to on this rainy old day?
Loving the colour, and organic design of this jade green platter. I'm using quite a lot of porcelain at the moment.
Sometimes I forget about certain things I’ve made/make, and then they’ll sell, so I get to revisit them. Oh green, how I 💚you. #FussyOverGussied
📮 HAPPY POST📮
This little bit of loveliness is fresh off the machine and waiting to be posted to it's new owner...
🌸This print seems to be a favorite. Just added two of these to the shop. Stop over and take a look. 🌸Link in the bio⬆️

Those summer nights end so much earlier. But I kinda love it when the boys can see a sunset without staying up till 9:00.
What’s your favourite part about the end of summer?
I've discovered my new favorite way of working on weekends. Take Saturday off from school things, work on and think about research, and while thinking sew! I finished this top yesterday morning, and started a new one in the afternoon. Got a lot of reading done, and even a little bit of writing. Embroidery and Braiding Sweetgrass in the evening. I love this fabric! I bought it at @oakfabrics
In early August. It looks a lot darker in person. I think the little spots look like Pacmans! #sewing #imadethis #handmadeisbettermade #inthefolds #collinstop
So another throw back... May 2017 saw me in serious fabric addiction BUT more importantly (because there's nothing wrong with fabric addiction... 😂) my introduction to the concept of Custom Designs.
At that time this was my most technical make for Orson, and yes he still wears this over a year later. But he didn't just get a cardi-coat, swipe to see matching hoodie and t-shirt.
So yes I can make hoodies, t-shirts, dresses, leggings... Anything really... Because are so many wonderful indie designers out there. I just haven't had time to update the website with all the makes I've made over the years (and my photo taking the was a little squiffy). So if you have a custom order, something specific in mind then discuss away with me... I'm always up for something challenging and fun. (and again I do have some of this fabulous Moon Man print squirreled away).
🌈 RAINBOWPHANT IN ACTION🌈
It only seems like yesterday I took this photo of Orson... It wasn't it was March 2017... He took a good 6m to get big enough to wear my Romper I made.
BUT it still fits him now (albeit more like a skin tight speed skater)! It's lasted well, bit of normal wear and tear associated with bum shuffling and learning to crawl/walk.
BUT it reinforces that handmade lasts... This will be in his memory box and get handed down and down and down... Like my husband's mother handed his handmade quilted romper down to his sister and him.
