May today be the last would-be due date I'll ever mourn because I am so tired.
I used to think that every miscarriage I suffered was a child I'd never meet. Nothing will make you question your belief system quite like a personal tragedy (or 5). The more loss I experienced, the more I searched for comfort and answers, some belief that had more substance and made more sense than the empty (to me) sentiments "everything happens for a reason" or "it's god's will."
I have done a lot of digging in my grief and I have found what resonates with me in my healing. My personal beliefs around my miscarriages have helped me cope, while providing desperately needed comfort and hope, even though it still hurts.
Grieve. Then find what makes your heart feel less broken, what fosters hope in the depths of your hopelessness, and hold onto that.

Our culture is hooked on feeling well as soon as possible. Of course we don’t want to watch someone suffer long term. And sometimes (sh*#) life happens, and when it does, we’re going to normally experience sadness, worry, doubt, and fear. Society, however, has decided that these feeling are “bad” and in order to make everyone else feel okay, we’d better find a way to get rid of these “bad” feelings and quickly. Our instincts also support this by telling us pain is bad and that we need to make it go away. So basically, we are conditioned to think as soon as anxiety and depression show up, the best answer is to seek a way to GET RID OF IT. But what we really need is to get closer to it.
Energy Healing for Anxiety
So how does one move through the symptoms of anxiety in a more holistic and healthy way?
First we have to address the real issue which is often a lack of connection. Many people who suffer from anxiety also describe feeling disconnected, alone, confused, out of sorts, and sad. These symptoms are also trying to speak to you and can offer the solution in a very simple way.

I am seriously obsessed with the magic that surrounds me, surrounds us. I find SO much joy in being able to see the leaves rustling in the wind. It makes me think of the Willow Tree in Pocahontas. Trees, plants, flowers- they're alive and laughing and giving and receiving. It is in these passing moments I am reminded of the joy in appreciating anything. It then takes me into the path of gratitude and there, there I find God.
