Here’s an idea - let’s leave it the way it was. When it was good for us. When it did provide healing, anti-inflammatory, pain relieving, cancer protective benefits. It’s really quite simple to make yourself; to combine fresh or dried turmeric w a little cinnamon, ginger & black pepper. I don’t see why we need to have these ‘convenient’ latte blends that are no better than a hot chocolate. Please don’t be fooled by the marketing, and be mindful that most cafes will be using pre packed turmeric latte mixes. Sometimes I bake something for the first time and am really proud of myself and in awe of how delicious and perfect it turns out. This was one of those times. These are sooooo ridiculously delicious. The texture is perfection. Everyone has to make them. You just have to! And I hope you love them as much as I do. Plus, they’re on my site for those of you who save recipes that way better! ❤️ Blueberry Oatmeal Scones 1 1/2 c almond flour
1 c gluten free oats
1/4 c tapioca flour
2 flax eggs
4 T aquafaba (liquid/brine from garbanzo beans)
1/4 c coconut oil
1/4 c maple syrup or honey
Pinch of pink salt
1/2 c wild blueberries
Mix dry ingredients together in a stand mixer. Add in wet, while mixing on a low speed. Fold in blueberries and pour batter into a baking sheet with a silpat mat do it doesn't stick. I form a large circle. Bake at 350 for one hour.
Let cool completely beside cutting and serving. #chelsbateseats #naturallychelsrecipe

Most foods we eat today have been grown with pesticides, herbicides and genetically modified to some extent. These substances can have a damaging effect on our microbiome.
For example, Glyphosate is a common herbicide used in much of industrial agriculture. Research has shown that Glyphosate can negatively impact the microbiome.
Daniele Mandrioli, at the Ramazzini Institute in Bologna, Italy, said significant and potentially detrimental effects from glyphosate had been detected in the gut bacteria of rat pups born to mothers, who appeared to have been unaffected themselves. “It shouldn’t be happening, and it is quite remarkable that it is,” Mandrioli said. “Disruption of the microbiome has been associated with many negative health outcomes, such as obesity, diabetes and immunological problems.” What does this mean for you?
The microbiome is being revealed as one of the most significant contributors to your overall health. "The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison", Anne Wigmore.
If you're consuming substances that are damaging to your microbiome, you're compromising your health.
As a starting point, stick to organic, naturally grown foods cooked from scratch.

Keyword here is COLD, this preserves the integrity of all those beautiful omega-3's. Cooking salmon(or any meat really) to "doneness" destroys a good amount of the lovely omegas that we are after, which is why including RAW fish is such an important part of your diet. Confession time. I’m struggling with my digestive issues that we still can’t figure out and I have to be on a partially liquid/ broken down diet. Too much pain and the inability to digest things. I had a small bowel series done this morning and need to detox all the freggin’ barium I had to invest, gross! Thank goodness for my @vitamix
Beets are bae! They are a unique source of phytonutrients called betalains. Betanin and vulgaxanthin are the two best-studied betalains from beets, both have been shown to provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification support. So yes, quite possibly a favorite of mine hints my beet tattoo. LOTS of soups and liquid recipes to come for healing 🌺🙃🌿
Totally how I feel right now while I am away from home and not able to do my usual routine. Not to mention my water intake is not where I would like it to be. BUT, I’m going to do the best that I can to eat healthy by looking for lower carb options when I eat out and picking up some healthy snacks at the local grocery store. Thank goodness we have a mini-fridge 🤪. Don’t let obstacles totally derail you. Do the best you can to stay on track and get right back into your healthy habits as soon as possible.
