The mushroom series continues! 👏🏻Last week, we discussed the health benefits of mushrooms. Today, I want to suggest a few ways that you can incorporate more in your diet 🍽There are many different ways to consume mushrooms, so unfortunately, I can’t talk about all of them in this post, but I will talk about three of them!
🍄Quick and probably one of the most basic methods of incorporating them into your meals: simply slice the raw, cleaned mushrooms and add to any salad (this will add a meaty texture to your 🥗).⠀
🍄This one is for those who are not really a fan of eating mushrooms in their raw form: make a mushroom sauce pasta! 🍝There are so many recipes out there, but here is one from @deliciouseveryday

🍄 Consume beverages that include mushroom powder (I like @foursigmatic
’s mushroom bevies!), which are commonly made from mushroom varieties such as lion’s mane and reishi. ☕️You could blend the powder into your coffee, smoothie, etc.! This method may sound odd, but it is a growing trend and is a great option if you’re just not a fan of mushrooms in general because their earthy flavor is disguised. ⠀

Warming up the chest and shoulder muscles with a little stretching action. I incorporate stretching and range of motion techniques in to most of my massages. Pairing massage and stretching is a great way to warm up the muscles for deeper tissue work, and leave the body in an even better state of relaxation.

It’s takes lots of time for health issues to emerge, yet the start was way back in lifestyle choices over years. What I find in clinic is that for every year of health symptoms we need to allow at least a month in the healing.
The flannel flower, just like our body systems has very specific conditions to thrive. These flowers only grow in a few places the world over. They need wind, rain, drainage and bush fires 🔥 to even begin to sprout.

This is the ultimate rainbow juice!! No joke! There’s arugula in it and you can’t even taste it! It makes so much juice too so there’s enough to pour into jars and keep in the fridge for another day or two! Unless you have children like mine who guzzle it down, say mom this is sooooo good and ask for more 🤣 which honestly it may happen...but how can you say no when they are asking for so much good stuff!
1 pineapple (including the core)

3 carrots (I used rainbow carrots to get different vitamins from the different colors)

Diet when losing body fat is paramount. As redundant as it sounds, whole foods are the key. High-volume foods (highest in nutrients and lowest in calories) are also the most filling foods, this allowing you to feel fuller on fewer total calories which makes fat loss easy.
Some of the best foods include: oats (incredibly filling due to the high fiber, protein, and water content making it a great way to start your day being full and energized for hours), broccoli (super low in calories which means you can stock up a meal with cups of broccoli at a time to add bulk), pineapple (not only high in multiple nutrients, but also only 80 calories per cup making it low in calories and quite filling), flax seeds (a great way to add fat, fiber and protein to most meals which adds the nutrition value and satiety level to the overall meal as those healthy fats especially help blunt the release of glucose into the bloodstream from food, allowing a sustained level of energy due to a more normal insulin response), grapes (with only 100 calories per cup, it is another fruit that I love to add with snacks due to being quite filling and also are a great dessert frozen), and green tea (zero calories, but also has a thermogenic effect to help you burn a bit more calories at rest which could help with overall fat loss). If you want to lose body fat, you have to respect what foods you consume.

I often hear people say that they eat healthy, but in return they just aren’t getting the results they want.
One of the common meals that people eat to lose weight or get healthy are salads. I, like probably many, love salads and it happens to be one of my go to lunches. The mistake that many make is in the selection of salad dressing. Most store bought salad dressings are loaded with sugar! And guess what people, sugar makes you gain fat! Sugar also contributes to an unhealthy gut, which weakens your immune system which can lead to disease.
I have become a fan of making my own dressing. My favorite is a combination of olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, sea salt, and pepper. If you absolutely don’t have time you can even drizzle your prepared salad with olive oil, and squeeze lemon juice over it, and trust me it is delicious! That is just one of many, there are so many easy homemade dressings out there!

There is no difference between drugs and synthetic vitamins/ minerals.
The body needs synergy and can only use vitamins & minerals that work synergistically together and come from fruit and veggies, for instance when you eat an apple it has the perfect balance of vitamins, minerals also with simple sugars, amino acids and amino fats. It converts and uses ATP (energy) right away.
When you consume synthetic products especially in their isolated state, such as just iron supplements or calcium and magnesium etc... not only it distresses the body and the body has nothing to do with that, it creates an acidic environment which takes the body completely out of balance and causes disease.
It's not about consumption- it's about utilization.
When the body is balanced it also creates and converts it's own vitamins and minerals. We don't really need too much of those anyway.
However when the body is acidic, we start to notice deficiencies as the body uses whatever it can to heal itself. A very common one is calcium. Cholesterol, calcium and water (alkaline) are the main sources of the body to fight inflammation, and in an acidic environment the body pulls calcium from the bones ( relatively easy and a fast process) to protect itself. Now doctors will tell you to take more calcium supplements, which is not the cause. You wish to reduce inflammation/acid levels so the body wouldn't feel the need to take calcium out of your joints and bones.
Our body is an amazing machine it does everything it can to overcompensate so something worse wouldn't happen. Always treat the cause not the symptoms.
This is where allopathic medicine fails as they only know how to suppress symptoms never cure the cause. .
