Salad love! 🥗 . . I definitely go through phases with salads. You don’t have to eat salads to be “healthy.” And you definitely should not eat salad if you don’t even like it and you are forcing yourself to eat it because your on a strict “diet.” It’s time to start listening to your body and what it wants and not impose strict rules of what you should and shouldn’t eat. Make the rules so that you win! If you don’t like something, don’t eat it. Find something else that you resonate with! . . I’m learning to simplify all things in my life. If it doesn’t feel good, don’t do it. I am going with my gut feeling 100% with everything and it is making life so much easier! I wasn’t like this even a year ago! It took practice and time to get to this place now where I trust my feeling completely and just knowing what to do, even when it comes down to what to eat. . . Do I get caught up sometimes and sabotage myself? Hell yea! Who doesn’t! But embrace that contrast! Tonight was a @rachaelsgoodeats kinda night😏and it was👌🏻🔥Tried to make a replica of her tahini salmon bowls and #rgecookieskillet individual cookies🍪swipe left to see👉🏻👀 • • • This may look complicated but it was actually super simple!🙌🏻All I did was put the salmon, brussels sprouts, and sweet potatoes on the same baking sheet - cover with avocado oil, s+p, and broil them for ~10 min. Then, just set them on a bed of mixed greens along with organic chopped avocado🥑, tomato🍅, cucumber🥒, sunflower seeds, sprouts, and beets! Then I made her tahini dressing🤤(mix together 2T tahini, 2T olive oil, 2T filtered water, 1/2 lemon squeezed, s+p, and a dash of cumin) and drizzled it over everything!😋 • • • The cookies are: 1 egg🥚, 3T maple syrup, 1/4 cup coconut oil melted🥥, 1/3 cup cashew butter, 1 t vanilla extract, 1T unsweetened almond milk, 1 1/4 cup almond flour, 1/4 t baking soda, 1/2 t cinnamon, 1/2 @eatingevolved chocolate bar🍫, 1/4 t sea salt, and 2 scoops @vital proteins collagen peptides. So, basically it’s a GREAT night over here at the McCahill household😂😍thanks @rachaelsgoodeats !! Chicken Parmesan 🍝😋 So delicious! Ingredients: 24 oz raw boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts (3 Leans) 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp reduced fat Parmesan Cheese, grated (6 Condiments) 1 teaspoon Basil (1/2 Condiment) 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano (1/2 Condiment) 1/2 teaspoon Paprika (1 Condiment) 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder (1 Condiment) 1 1/2 tbsp Butter, melted (3 Healthy Fats) Directions: Preheat oven to 450°. Line a baking sheet with non-stick foil.In a bowl, combine parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, paprika, and garlic powder. Set aside. I like to pound my chicken breasts thin and then cut them lengthwise in half. Toss the chicken with melted butter in a medium sized bowl, coating evenly. Then dredge the chicken in cheese mixture. I just placed the chicken on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkled the parmesan cheese mixture on both sides of the chicken. Bake for 20 minutes or until chicken is completely cooked. When do you feel hungry after breakfast?? 1,2,3 hours? 🤔 Consuming foods that sit in your stomach for a little bit longer and take longer to be broken down will help keep you feeling full for longer after breakfast. And this can help you resist any non-hungry snacking. 😏 Try including a combination of foods at breakfast that include slow release carbohydrates, protein, fibre and good fats. Some mornings i opt for @freedomfoodsus Barley Plus Oats as it has 3 different types of fibre -soluble, insoluble and resistant starch all of which are beneficial for a thriving gut! Se você retirou da base alimentar açúcar e farinhas refinadas, sua alimentação já estará com uma quantidade de carboidrato abaixo das diretrizes. 🔸 Porém, entenda que reduzir o carboidrato não necessariamente implica em redução de peso ou de inflamação e acréscimo de saúde, se ainda não houver qualidade na sua alimentação. 🔸 Teoricamente, low carb é: eliminar da base alimentar alimentos refinados (açúcar, farináceos, grãos e alimentos que os contenham) e processados (que contenham corantes, conservantes...), alimentar-se, principalmente, de comida de verdade, adaptando a ingestão de fontes de amido, considerando o TODO individual. 🔸 Apesar de não haver um consenso científico, low carb seria consumir entre 10 a 44% de carboidrato na alimentação, o que corresponderia a, aproximadamente, um limite de 130g deste macronutriente. Não é pouco!! Dá pra comer muita comida de verdade dentro destes parâmetros!! 🔸 Abaixo de 30g por dia, a alimentação não está low carb, mas, cetogênica, quando BEM FORMULADA. Abaixar o seu consumo de carbo para esta quantidade deve ser realizado apenas com acompanhamento nutricional! 🔸 Resumindo: a quantidade de carboidrato é individual, consumí-lo em baixa quantidade não repercute em emagrecimento, performance e SAÚDE se o seu conceito de low carb estiver equivocado. 🔸 Preocupe-se em comer COMIDA DE VERDADE!! 🔸 E antes de aderir a qualquer estratégia, informe-se em fontes com respaldo científico, busque acompanhamento nutricional, tenha claras as suas razões pra desejar uma mudança alimentar e FAÇA ACOMPANHAMENTO PSICOLÓGICO se você tiver o hábito de descontar emoções na comida! 🔸 Seu contexto alimentar, sua saúde e seu corpo só mudam a partir do momento em que você cuida também do que pensa e do que sente. Ingredientes simples y no procesados: lechuga, aceitunas, zanahorias, remolachas, tomates, plátanos maduros y humus hecho en casa. { R E C E T T E } Biscuits #sansgluten aux abricots & quinoa . 1/2 t. quinoa cuit 2/3 t. flocons d'avoine 2 c. à soupe de farine d'avoine 2/3 t. abricots séchés + 1/4 t. *Abricots sans sucre ajouté* 1/3 t. d'eau 1 c. à thé de cannelle moulue 1/4 t. d'huile de noix de coco 1 oeuf ______________________________________________ 1- Préchauffer le four à 350°F. 2- Couper les abricots séchés en petits dés. Mélanger 2/3 t. d'abricots séchés avec l'eau. 3- Dans un grand bol, mélanger la «pâte d'abricots », le quinoa, les flocons d'avoine, la farine d'avoine et la cannelle. 4- Ajouter l'oeuf et l'huile de noix de coco fondue puis mélanger. 5- Ajouter le reste des abricots puis mélanger. 6- Poser une feuille de papier parchemin sur une plaque à biscuits. 7- Former des boules de pâte et les déposer sur le papier parchemin.
