Not sure about you, but I want to be around hard workers - they inspire me, it makes me want to do a better job, and accomplish bigger and bigger goals.
That's what I loved about living in San Diego, everyone was so driven.
I would meet women in their 20's who had multiple successful businesses. I love being around that.
Maui is very different, as a lot of people are fine just chilling, letting the days pass them by.
Which, don't get me wrong, is totally cool too, but not my style.
I like to relax for a few hours each day, but not an entire day.
Are you the same way?
I remember in 5th grade doing D.A.R.E. (Did you have that too?) There was an Essay Content, and the winner would get to read theirs in front of the entire school. I told my mom "Just you wait and see, I'm going to read my essay".
And I did.
It helped that my family had given me a lot of material to write about (Drug use and addiction, unfortunately, is prevalent in my family).
However, being around other kids who were working so hard really helped me put my best foot forward.
I don't know anyone who's achieved their ambitious goals without hard work, and inspiring people around them - that's the recipe for success.
So, if you've been told you work too hard, you care too much, or you just need to relax, you're probably surrounding yourself with the wrong tribe.

I am LOVING Doterra convention. But my body isn’t!! Sitting this long HURTS!! So every once in a while, I jump up and run stairs, do squats, and pushups. Sometimes you have to think outside the box to get your exercise in! You can still get your exercise in even when you have to be sedentary!!
I know I’m nutty about health but it’s just so important!! Most people wait until there sick to try and get healthy!! But what if there is a way to get healthy before!!! So you don’t have to get sick and even if you do get sick you will recovery A LOT faster!!!!
It’s just so crazy how many people have sickness, high blood pressure, diabetes that can all be prevented!! Take care of yourself!! Yes of course enjoy the food you love but limit it and eat healthy most of the time.. I love you all and want you to live a healthy life that’s why I’m so passionate about it

Feeling fresh!!!! 😜 Slowly adding cardio and intense training sessions back in after a full month of recovery. My body was feeling physically and mentally beat down from years of training without the proper rest it needs, which is a good one month or more of solid recovery, meaning no weight training or high intensity anything! Just light movements to keep your circulation going. This is if you train like a professional athlete that is. Your central nervous system needs to rest as well as all your physical body parts (muscles, tendons, ligaments, etc.) so that you can improve and make progress over time without getting hurt or burnt out. So I gave my body the rest it deserved. I did little to no weight training (very light or just bands), very little cardio (light walks), and heavily focused on yoga to heal my body plus a healthy clean balanced diet always. And of course it worked. It’s all about balance. And even though I had already planned to do my first bikini show months before since the beginning of the year, it was already paid for and I really wanted to experience it, there was no turning back and I gave it my best in the moment but it wasn’t my fullest potential. Health is always first to me. I prioritize longevity and wellbeing. Always listen to your body. It has the wisdom and power of healing itself if you allow it to. Now I’m having fun getting back into the groove of my passion more motivated and stronger than ever! #endorphingasm

Those that follow me know I am good about my food 80% of the time. (On Sundays we get GF pizza and an adult beverage on the beach ;)
What you may not know is I used to be addicted to coke and carbs. The old Coke with the red can and sugar.
True story, I had a coke every day at about 2pm. If I didn't have any at home I would walk across the street to my friend Debi's to get a can. .
I ate 'fat free'. It was all the rage. a yogurt for breakfast, a soda for lunch. Maybe some pretzels. High carb, no nutrition. In HS I made $2 a day/ $10 a week because I didn't use my lunch money. .
I was an 80's girl and I was a dancer. Yep...I'm over 50.
We tanked our metabolisms. Remember the cabbage soup diet!? My mom put me on it the week before senior portraits. .
We had NOOOO clue.
I didn't truly eat to give my body the nutrition until I was in my 40s. It was true... real food gives you energy. .
This whole experience has given me true health and a business where I am so grateful and honored to be able to help you guys now.
Todays lunch was leftover cod and broccoli....with seltzer. I still like the fizz ;) .
