Today’s Tuesday Transformation is awesome. Here it is in her own words:
My life has been a constant struggle with my self-image and weight. At the start of my journey, I weighed over 200 lbs., had a cholesterol level of 328, had suffered from a DVT, had constant headaches and fatigue, severe depression, and chronic knee pain. Last summer, I signed up with a personal trainer and faithfully worked out the entire summer. I lost NOTHING…no pounds or inches! I have always had eating disorders, and have tried more diets, supplements, wraps, and weight-loss plans than I can even remember. Nothing ever worked for me and I felt hopeless!
This plan made it so EASY to keep track and to have what I needed with me WHEN my body needed fueling. I developed the habit of eating every 2-3 hours and drinking water throughout the day.
I cannot even begin to touch on all the positive changes that I feel, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally. Now, I am developing friendships, planning activities with my children and students, and I am not embarrassed to be seen in public. I have clothes that are in-style and that fit, and my health has improved in every way, as well as my energy level and attitude. 💡Be aware that not every session will be at its most optimal. Mondays workout will carry over into Tuesdays workout, as Wednesday may carry over into Friday, as an example. Fatigue accumulation is real & this is where programming intelligently is important as to not overtrain + perform at your best whilst still making progress. Today i could feel that yesterday's first brutal leg workout following comp had me feeling much less than 90% although i got my sleep & ate appropriately (work related stress may also have played a role here, however). This is why todays push sesh is dialled back a bit.
Take home: understand that the week or day that has been, will affect the following days bouts of performance.
Late-night, arm-shaking, sweat-dripping workout is done! I made sleep a priority and skipped the workout this morning, and the day almost got away from me, but I made sure to get it done, and I feel great! I upped my weights, too! .
Side note/fun fact: I'm low-key obsessed with this shirt I snagged at Target. I love graphic tees, especially if they're screen printed!

Sooo .... I just fainted.😱 I am not a fan of blood tests but I haven’t fainted while getting one done before (well I came close a few times). 💉 This particular one required 8 full test tubes and that was too much blood for my body to handle. 🤕 After about the 7th one I started getting ringing in the ears and then I couldn’t see anything or say anything, it all went black. 😷I was still somewhat conscious while the nurse quickly grabbed me and helped me to the ground so I did land safely on the floor.😂 When I became conscious again I felt very nauseous🤢, sweaty, dizzie, headache, weak, I couldn’t feel my hands (they went completely numb) and all those fainting symptoms. The nurse said she knew I was going to faint as I went completely pale 👻and the blood stopped going💉 and then I rolled my eyes backwards 👀.
