Yesterday I was talking with a medical doctor from the state, we covered everything from B to C sales, marketing and healthcare issues. Towards the end of our convo he asked me, “what does success look like to you?” . The weird part is that I didn’t know how to answer lol. It took me about 5 minutes to answer. In retrospect, Im not sure that my response was authentic and genuine. . My question to you is, 1) What does your success look like? I hope y’all prepared yourselves for my basic white girl-ness, because while yes, it’s still only August, she is out to PLAY. I made these pumpkin pie overnight oats last night and they are probably the thickest and creamiest oats I ever did make. I highly recommend 👌🏽. Here are the dEats 1/2 cup rolled oats 2/3 cup almond milk 1/3 cup pumpkin purée 1 tbs chia seeds 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tbs peanut butter 1 scoop collagen powder (optional) 1 tsp honey or other sweetener Mix all ingredients together extremely well and chill overnight. This morning I added half a banana and some dark chocolate on top. Sunday mornings are for PANCAKES always 🤩🙌🏻 Woke up this morning feeling insecure. I’m bloated and my face is puffy from my medication. I had ice cream yesterday. I haven’t been running as much as I was this time last year. But then I remembered all the things that my body can do for me and I felt silly. I’m lucky to be able to run at ALL when just 2 weeks ago I was laying in a hospital bed. I may be bloated but thats because these meds are helping my body heal. Insecurities are tough to handle but its so important to look at what your body can do instead of what it cant or what it looks like because its pretty damn amazing when you think of it that way. Hope you all have the most amazing, relaxing Sundays 🤗

Living your happiest, healthiest and fullest life requires for you to, as the saying goes, stop and smell the roses 🌹 (sunflowers for me over here though 🤗) and appreciate the little things that go unthought about during our busy daily lives. It is about, slowing down, finding what brings you true authentic happiness and filling your time with that whenever you can, and perhaps sharing it with someone that you care about too. Guys!! These double chocolate banana pancakes are seriously the best pancakes I’ve ever had! You all definitely need to try them out! 🍫 All you need is: 3 eggs (or egg replacements) 1 whole ripe 🍌 , mashed 1/3 cup all purpose flour 1 tbsp of milk (🥜 or 🐄) 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla essence 1 tbsp cocoa powder And lotsss of chocolate chips 🍫 Combine everything is a bowl, except the chocolate chips. Then cook on a non-stick pan, adding the chips after you pour the batter. Quick meditation update: I’m still meditating every morning the moment I get out of bed (yep, I haven’t missed a day in over 70 days 😱) and I wanted to share an unexpected benefit I’m noticing: I’m starting to feel more and more like myself as I go about my daily life. It may sound simple, but for me this is a profound shift. As someone who has felt like there’s “something wrong with me” pretty much my entire life, the ability to accept myself and share that with the world without shame is life-changing and heart opening. I know I still have lots of work to do (don’t we all?!), but it’s safe to say I’m fully committed to my meditation practice. 🙌 . I’d love to hear, for those of you that meditate regularly, is this something you’ve experienced? How has meditation changed your life?
Hi everyone! I’ve been super absent on here, and have gotten so many DMs about how I keto. I’ll try to start sharing more, life has just been beyond crazy recently. Everyone’s keto journey is going to look a little bit different. The amount of carbs my body thrives on is going to be different than yours. And I’m still finding my sweet spot. Biggest question: How I’m able to get so much fat in since I was on WW for so long. The answer: I did WW & low carb higher fat for the duration of my weightloss so this is hardly any different, just a little less protein than I’m used to consuming. My favorite breakfast at the moment is my coffee slushy! 10oz iced coffee (I use Starbucks blonde roast because it has less carbs then medium roast or cold brew), 2T @nutpods (I’m using pumpkin spice today 😋), 1T MCT oil (I have three different brands, use whatever you can find), a scoop of @vitalproteins collagen, 1/2 cup of ice and BLEND! I bought a personal@ninjakitchen blender for this so I don’t have to take out my Vitamix! Sometimes I also put in half a scoop of @julianbakery Paleo chocolate protein for flavor (when not using 🎃 creamer)! This is such a yummy treat to me, and is also Whole30! Best brussels sprouts ever. Just when I thought oven roasted with fat and balsamic vinegar was the best, hubs pan fried them with garlic and onion. No more mushy, sulfur-y steamed brussels of the 90's.🤢 Add some lemon-y kale and purple sweet 'tatos to an herby pork chop and dinner is done.👌
@jrinkjuicery , you’re my new DC love affair ✨ Weekends of lots of 🍷 have me reaching for extremes like green juice & golden lattes to alkalize and detoxify BUT that’s because they are accessible to me 🙄 “Wellness” is SO not defined by how many juices you down or how much turmeric is sprinkled in your meals, and realistically it’s expensive + hard to come by unless you’re in a big city. So, I indulge because I can due to location and the commitment to spend a little extra money on “extra” things, but the real definition of wellness is being able to listen to your body and give it what it NEEDS. Whether that’s an extra glass of water, or a long run, or a second helping of food, or a night out with friends. Wellness looks different for everyone and has no mold to fit into — especially not the one of privilege and expensive add ons.
