🛑 This is a Tasty One 😋 🛑 Grilled Sardines in a Lemon Marinate ⏲ Serving: 4 / Prep time: 20 mins / Cooking Time: 10 - 12 mins Difficulty: Easy 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 INSTRUCTIONS👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 First prepare the sardines by descaling, gutting & cleaning; (can use pre prepared also to save even more time) remember to pat dry. Mix the Lemon juice, finely chopped red onions, ground black pepper, extra olive oil and freshly chopped parsley in a jug. Pour the freshly prepared marinade over the sardines and leave in a sealed container for 25 – 30 minutes. Once the sardines 🐟 have marinated place under a medium - hot grill for 10 -12 minutes; make sure you turn & baste the sardines in the remainder of the marinade as they cook. A potrebno vam je: 1 dcl tekuceg ili nekog drugog jogurta, sok jedne narance, zlica chia sjemenki, dvije zlice ekspandiranog prosa i pola banane. U jogurt i sok od narance umijesati po pola zlice chia sjemenki i pustiti na nabubre. Ja sam ih ostavila par sati u hladnjaku. I loved the egg muffin bake from Tuesday, so I just needed another! 😅This time I made it in the style of my masala egg scramble. I made the masala with tomatoes, onion and chilies, whipped it with eggs and baked in the oven. This actually turned out super well! They became so fluffy and this time they had a kick. 🔥 A super easy breakfast option! . I was asked yesterday for a recipe! I'm so happy that it's #persimmon season, I've only just discovered them in recent years. They remind me of Indian mangoes, creamy, sweet and full-bodied. I love eating them this way, puréed with yogurt, Färsking granola (these high school kids figured out how to sweeten granola naturally, go y'all!), almond butter, coconut flakes, sesame seeds and bee pollen 🐝 P.S. one thing I picked up at university is to eat a variety of foods and a variety of colors, makes sense and you don't get bored 🙌🏽

Celui qui veut rien faire trouve une excuse. ~ Hello mes 🐯 Petit repas du tartif aujourd'hui : coquillettes complètes, courgettes et dés de soja à la crème de soja miam avec un filet d'huile au basilic J'ai choisi cette situation aujourd'hui pour une bonne raison j'entends souvent les gens me dire qu'ils n'arrivent pas à trouver du temps à faire du sport par exemple, à se ramener à manger au boulot à cause de leurs horaires de travail ou X raisons. Mais ceux sont que des excuses. Je pense que quand on veut vraiment quelque chose perdre du poids se tonifier etc.. on peut prendre le temps d'aller au sport ou de faire sa séance chez soi pour moi tout est question d'organisation. À ce niveau-là mon conjoint est un vrai exemple pour moi il travaille presque 50 heures par semaine et il arrive à trouver du temps pour le sport pour le vélo pour la musique et bien sûr pour moi. Honestly, I haven’t been posting much lately cuz my staples since we moved have been pb + j sandwiches, cereal, and rice/quinoa w/ boiled (frozen) veggies 😞🤷🏻‍♀️ I feel like I’ve been thrown a curve ball here trying to figure out new healthy food ideas for me and my family with such limited options - the NEX aka Navy exchange aka the only place to get groceries here other than the mini mart, is sorely lacking in pretty much all my old staples... you can forget “fresh” because everything here came on the barge that takes a week to get here from Florida. I’ve also had to say a tough goodby to organic produce (other than the 2 organic items I’ve seen here) 😭 I’m trying to stay positive and have a good attitude, it’s just gonna take a while to figure out our new staples here! So if anybody has any ideas for healthy foods to make with limited options please share!! Today’s breakfast 👉🏻 @quaker oats topped w/ 🍌, 🍎, frozen blueberries, @enjoylifefoods chocolate chips, and some @purely_elizabeth granola and @yumbutter chocolate espresso pb that I had shipped in! Is it not so instagram of me to be posting these insane spare ribs from last Shabbat in the morning . But wait it’s top of the mornin here and when @shannonbeador says it that way then anything qualifies ! Sweet and sticky ribs slow cooked to perfection you won’t want to put the plate down that’s how good it is . You will need 3 lbs of spare ribs Sauce: 1/2 cup peach or apricot jam 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar water to thin it out 3 tbsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp garlic powder Chili flakes for spice OPTIONAL . These need a low and slow bake on 350f for 30 minutes and 300f for 2-3 hours covered Keep basting sauce on top . I used this same sauce for the Brussels sprouts and you can pretty much use it on anything !

~LUNCH~ For lunch I made a Slow cooker chicken stew with black & white beans, celery, potato, zucchini, chopped sweet potato and chopped garlic cooked with homemade tomato sauce, beef broth, cumin, white pepper and paprika. As a side dish: lettuce salad & roasted-skinless-pickled green chili pepper.
