I used to use a certain expensive, acne-targeted skincare line and I remember all of my pillowcases, sheets, and towels got bleached from the Benzoyl Peroxide, yuck! It has been pretty cold the past few days and I've wanted some soup. I had potatoes, onion and garlic in the fridge and some spinach frozen and some chicken basil sausage from @meatcrafters

Here’s a little healthy breakfast fun! Banana Oatmeal Waffles topped with blueberries 😋
My mom got my little guy a personal waffle maker for Christmas, so we’ve been experimenting with different flavors. Waffles are a food he actually likes! 🤣 Next time I’ll add an egg for a little protein too.
1 small banana
3/4 cup oatmeal
1 cup milk
Blend it up, then put it in the waffle maker! Top with fruit if you’d like, preferably in a smiley face...because smiley faces make everything better. 😁😁😁😁
My daughter likes Special K Red Berries cereaI a lot. but I told her fresh strawberries are a healthier option, so we bought plain Special K and added fresh ‘red berries’ and some organic whole milk. Strawberries are just coming into season here in Florida and they are so good. She has decided this is definitely a better choice. It’s the little changes that add up! Eat some fresh berries today. They are so good for you.

👋 Until I said goodbye to perfectionism, I couldn't make progress. I used to use finding the perfect diet or workout as a motivator, but it had become more of an excuse to procrastinate and not make any progress at all.
📚 I couldn’t keep using my next vacation or work deadline, my not having read all of the books or listened to all of the podcasts or my needing to have the support from every person in my life as reasons not to move forward.
💡 I didn’t need things to be perfect, what I needed was to make progress.
👉 I could no longer wait around for an ideal environment or ideal circumstances, what I needed was to let go the idea that things should be perfect at all.
It’s a jungle out there... keep your cool. .
Pay attention to how you react to things, such as having to wait in line for a long time, someone being not so kind to you, a crazy driver that cuts you off, etc...
How you react effects YOU. The person that upset normally has no idea. If you react negatively, you’re only hurting yourself. .
Next time someone really URKS you, notice how you react and try to figure out WHY you reacted that way. Then come up with a different reaction for next time. .
You’ll feel so much better if you can stay calm and maybe even try to think of why that person did whatever it was. Maybe they were having a worse day then you, if you react kindly, maybe it’ll help their day get better.

First try at making a Keto friendly bagel. This recipe uses mozzarella, cream cheese, almond flour, eggs and lots of spices. They turned out pretty good. And no, I am not in a strict keto diet. But I am lowering my carb and gluten intake.
A good start to the day- yogurt with applesauce, chopped apples,cinnamon and Pecan Great Grains Cereal. This little girl is solid muscle and can eat! Keeping her athletic body fueled with the proper nutrition is very important.

Tonight for dinner, I looked in the fridge and couldn’t find anything. I sometimes get so busy with mom-life that I don’t get many chances to sit down and eat throughout the day. Can you relate? 🙋🏻♀️
Anyway, I was staaaaaaarving! Then I realized I was thinking about the protein/meat as the main part of the meal. So I decided to think about the vegetables first and I noticed we had a TON of veggies! So I tossed them in olive oil and threw them in the oven for 20 minutes. I put the veggies on some leftover jasmine rice and...bam! Dinner was done ✅
Of course you could add chicken or tofu to this meal to get your protein in. (Note to self for future meal.)
Does anyone else think about the protein first when planning a meal? Maybe we should start thinking about the veggies first and we’d be a lot healthier!

I’ve been signing my journal with “A Beautiful Mess” because, that is what I am. It was a phrase in a book I read ages ago (a lifetime ago really) but the phrase rings true today.
Not sure where to start on centering your heart? Pick up a journal and write a prayer. Or write ponderings. Or doodle Bible verses. Whatever you do- those moments will be what helps ground you.
