Happy Saturday night y’all! Is anyone else sleepy, because I’m exhausted! It’s been a long spring break and it’s time to jump back into the grind! Excited to head back down to school tomorrow so I can FINALLY have access to a gym. I have been stuck with at home work outs which I struggle to find things to do that are as equivalent to my gym routines. There’s just something about the gym that’s just so motivating 😍 (it also has tools that I lack at home). With that being said, here’s a preview of the week.
Sunday: Leg day with HIIT
Monday: Shoulders with 3 mile run
Tuesday: Back and bicep with HIIT
Wednesday: Legs with 3 mile Run
Thursday: Chest and Tricep with HIIT
Friday:Shoulders and Bi with 3 mile run
The cardio is up for grabs on whether I will do HIIT or just run, but I’m still figuring out what is the most effective for me. However, I try to vary my workout as much as I can (while remaining consistent) because I get bored so easily! I recently started this plan inspired by many of the fitness beauties on here and it’s been working pretty well. As time goes on, I’m sure things will change, but I’m working on learning what is best for me!

This beautiful young lady told me thanks for introducing me to these products! She had surgery around the time she started the shakes and was bedridden for months. She is finally up and doing what she loves.
This is why I do it!! I just want us to live our best lives and I appreciate Tomika C Greathouse for allowing me to share my story. She saw my success and took a chance...she's glad she did. Now she's sharing her story! Each one - reach one!! Keep it up Tomika! I'm so proud of you and the best is yet to come 🤗
⚠️ CAUTION ALERT: Just a self reminder that - just because the title is "Açaí bowl" it doesn't mean the calorie is low or you can eat as much as you want if you're still want to be in #caloriedeficit . Sometimes the overloads berries would destroy your calorie target, so be careful about what you're topping in. (🥤 same thing with the smoothies) // photo cr. @equalution

Yummy French Toast 😍🍞🍓❤👌
4 slices Spelt Bread
2 eggs whisked
3/4 cup organic milk
1 tspn cinnamon
1 tspn vanilla extract
Butter & almond oil for cooking
1/2 cup berries
2 teaspoons Maple syrup
Organic Greek Yogurt
I whisked eggs, milk cinnamon & vanilla extract, then I put a little organic butter & Almond oil in a pan on low heat as that starts to warm, soak a slice of bread in the egg mix then gently turn it around to soak on the otherside & gently transported the bread with a spatula to the pan ( by this stage the breads soggy so be carefully so it doesn't break apart). Place in the pan and cook for 1 or 2 minutes on each side & check the bottom side doesn't burn. Then turn it over & cook it on the opposite side. I like to cook my fruit toppings in the same pan simultaneously if the pans big enough ... so everything's ready at the same time.
I like to top French Toast with the berries coulis mix & add a generous dollop of Greek Yogurt or Coconut Yogurt & a little extra dusting of cinnamon & a drizzle of mapel syrup!!! Enjoyed with a lovely cup of tea 🍞🍓😋🍵Delish 😍🙆🌞 #itsorganic#wholefood#nutritious#frenchtoast#frenchtoast#healthy#goodfood#eatwell#organicproduce#instagood#healthylife#instahealth#yummy
If you saw my story you know I did a longish trail run today, and now I am using Deep Blue soothing blend to rejuvenate my muscles, prevent soreness, and recover quickly. 👍😊
I also may be taking advantage of that jacuzzi later. 😉
Deep Blue blend is made up of oils that soothe, promote healing, and have mild numbing properties, and are anti inflammatory! Perfect for using after a bard workout! 😃
The touch roller is diluted so I can rub the oil all over my muscles and joints without worrying about using too much! 😆
Message me if you want to know how to buy your own oils! I have great starter kit options! 💜
Week 1 of the Fresh Start program down. It’s amazing how changing your diet impacts everything. Eating clean, unprocessed, protein-heavy food sounded easy, but eating double my normal portions was a tough adjustment. Look forward to seeing how I adapt in week 2 when my exercise routine kicks back in #cleaneating#freshstart#healthy

One of my @fitfriendsokc posted a great quote yesterday that spoke to me in many ways that I had to share with y'all @coachingwithchristian posted ➡
Did I want to workout today?
No especially after yesterday’s #WOD but I will not let my mind conquer me! One thing I have learned through my healthy lifestyle is to take control of my own mind and body.
Life is about control! Once you master control the world is yours!!! Do you have control of yourself? Or does yourself have control over you? 💁🏾♀️ That is deep y'all!
I want you to take a min and answer that question honestly you can keep it to yourself or comment below make sure you show @coachingwithchristian some love ❤ her posts are full of great things.
Hitting snooze on your alarm clock and immediately reaching for your phone? If that sounds familiar your throwing yourself into high alert mode right away 😨 might be a that a notification has got you worrying about an upcoming to-do, or a depressing event in the news feed. You’re not giving your mind and body the proper time it needs as it comes out of rest 🤗So to help yall create a healthy morning routine that sets you up well for the rest of the day, here are 🖐 things you can do right away.
1. Wake Up Earlier
Waking up 30 minutes before your usual time could be incredibly productive for your well-being. If you’re ready to create a morning routine, then you’re going to need the time to do it. ( squeezing it in during your morning rush won’t suffice!) 2. Drink Hot Water With Lemon
No need to quit caffeine (I know I'm not). But before you pour your daily coffee, try boiling some water and squeezing half a lemon into it. The temperature of the water will both soothe your body and stimulate your digestion while the lemon squeeze will activate enzymes to detoxify your liver.
3. Reflect in Writing or Meditate
The whole purpose of creating a morning routine is to make time to connect to yourself. When you start your day coming from this place of connection, it carries through in the rest of your life. In meditation, you’ll sit in stillness and practice simply being with whatever comes up. While the goal isn’t to stop thinking, you do want to let your thoughts go so you’re not placing any attention or emotion into what you’re thinking. The hope is to allow your thoughts to settle so your mind will quiet down.
4. Move Your Body
10 minutes of stretch, by getting the body to move early in the day, you get the blood flowing, the endorphins going and a boost in your energy.
5. Eat a Healthy Breakfast
A nice nutritional meal is the perfect finish to your morning routine. Not only does it kick your metabolism into high gear, it provides the nourishment it needs. The goal is to sate your hunger and raise your energy.
☉Once you start doing this daily youll start carving out this time for yourself, you’ll soon look forward to it each day.

Here are five things you can do to clear your mind.
You may already be familiar with the runner’s high when your endorphins kick in and you feel like you’re floating through the air rather than pounding the pavement. Well, before those endorphins set in there’s a point when your mind becomes totally focused on the activity — your run — and it consumes your attention, which releases the other thoughts. By focusing only on one thing.
2. Take a Walk
If running doesn’t feel good for your body, walk instead! This is an excellent activity for when you need to clear the mind, and make space for your creativity to flow. The simple act of getting outside and feeling the fresh air will do wonders.
3. Get Out in Nature
This is a beautiful way to clear the mind. You don’t even have to move your body — simply sitting by the ocean (I miss that) sitting on the park feeling the wind in your hair.
Don’t keep it all bottled up in your head! By putting it down on paper, you’re giving yourself a dedicated time and space to think about these things, which allows you to see your thoughts more clearly.
The act of sitting still and doing nothing... similar to how writing/drawing it gives you a place and time to put your thoughts.Using a single point of focus, like your breath, will help to keep your awareness steady, which will enable your thoughts to slow down.
These activities will work wonders for clearing the mind, and the more often you do them, the easier it will be. What do you do??
