One of the biggest reasons I decided to say ‘YES’ to joining the Abundance Effect was to set myself up for the future, to be able to create something that would allow freedom and flexibility in our lives, so that when we do decided to have babies I wouldn’t have to rush back to my 9-5 job.
Already I can see that will be possible, my eyes have been opened to a different way, a better way... a way that would give me the option to do Mum care instead of day care.
How awesome is that!?
When we do have kids, I don’t want to have to worry about maternity leave ending or be stressing about money or day care... I just want to be at home enjoying life with my little ones.
This is totally possible and I can’t wait for that day to come.

In March we went on a family holiday to Tenerife. After wearing swimming costumes for the past 5 years I ordered loads of bikinis, and returned every single one of them as I wasn't happy with how I looked.
I carried on going to gym classes 5 days a week and tried to eat healthily. I also began @pmacfitness #RunPlan
and began running 3 times a week. The more running I did, the less gym classes I went to.
In August we decided to book a holiday for our anniversary. I bought more bikinis and decided that I looked "okay".
I cancelled my gym membership, signed up for the #BumPlan
and started doing #HomeWorkouts
alongside the running.
Last week we went on holiday and I felt much happier in my bikini. I've still got a way to go to achieve the body I want, but I'm so happy with my progress over the past 6 weeks, working out at home (usually with a child 🙈) and running whenever possible.

BYE-BYE TERM 3! 👋🏼 Not the greatest start to my Friday - Jarrod took my keys to work with him. The keys I need to use to drive to the hall for class. and to get in! He was working in Toorak so it would have taken too long to bring them back and get back to work, so he got them an Uber! Luckily he realised early enough that it didn’t make me late!
THEN after class a few of us went to George Jones for lunch. I got there and realised my purse was in my other bag. FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC. Thankfully, one of these lovelies paid for mine and Darcy’s lunch in the meantime. How embarrassing! 🙈

For those of you not able to join us for Term 4, we wish you all the best with returning to work (not that you haven’t been working 24/7 since your baby arrived!) and look after yourselves! 💜

Today I was doing glute raises and single leg glute raises. I turned around and my 5 year old was doing some too. Then my 2 year old joined in as well!
Exercising with kids can be a bit frustrating as they need your attention and workouts will take longer BUT it’s great for them to see mum exercising 💪🏻 which is a huge benefit.
9.30am Burn & Tone classes are child friendly! There is a fenced kids play area specifically for these sessions.

Don’t make the same mistake as I did 😳 At least it gave me a kick up the ass to get back into healthy habits. I decided to not put pressure on myself to do anything other than look after myself, my man and my babies for a couple of months after bubs was born, which has been great, but I can honestly say that changing my nutrition and making sure I’m getting my morning walks in this last week has given me so much more energy, which is exactly what I want 👍🏼. Also, have seen this quote all over social media, so not sure who to credit.

What a wonderful afternoon spent with my eldest, my only boy. 💙 Last day of term 3, just made it to assembly in time to see him win an award. Then some 1-1 time around the lake. At the start of the year there’s no way I would have enjoyed this with him, today we had races up the hill and jobs around the lake. I have really missed quality time with him. Since Mia was born life has been crazy. Nothing in this world beats that smile & squeal ✨
Ps. It was Liam’s idea to take photos holding up the tree. Such a clever boy! .

PER FARE UNA COSA FATTA BENE CI VUOLE LO STESSO TEMPO CHE PER UNA FATTA MALE •🍯 Questa frase me la ripeteva sempre uno dei responsabili che ho amato di più nel mio lavoro ordinario ... Me lo ripeteva spesso , e mi diceva che valeva in ogni cosa nella vita , non solo nel lavoro ... Beh negli anni questa frase è diventata un mio mantra , ho cercato di applicarla nella mia quotidianità, ed anche nel cibo ... Ho sempre sostenuto di non aver tempo per fare la colazione , per cui ho sempre ripiegato su cornetto e cappuccino al bar , mi sembrava più veloce ... Ma la fila per pagare ? La fila per prenderlo ? Il tempo di sedersi un attimo e berlo ? Alla fine è lo stesso tempo che ci vuole per bollire una tazza di acqua e fare un tea verde mentre nel frattempo mi preparo per uscire !
e per spalmare marmellata bio senza zucchero su 3 fette di pane integrale tostato , o su gallette o fette biscottate ci vogliono esattamente 2 minuti !
Ma se voglio essere ancora più veloce , latte veg caldo e complete al cioccolato ed è subito una colazione fatta bene !
Il tempo è uguale per tutti , sono le scuse che fanno la differenza! 😉
