Many people struggle between holding on and letting go. The time under tension of indecisiveness, when contemplating which one of the two to choose; can be quite strenuous, painful, and downright hard. Thankfully the process can be lessened when choosing one or the either, quickly, and in an assured manner; but that of course takes time, lesson(s) learned, and experience.
To hold on and to let go - each have their pro and con when, choosing. The former eventually allows you to sit atop of new accomplishments, obtain new growth, and having a payoff realized after working hard to seeing whatever it is through...but it can also lead you to fall due to strength drained, and thus never reach the top. The latter allows you to get towards things that are more comfortable and tailored to you quicker, without anything holding you back or weighing you down...but it can also lead you to give up too soon, and prematurely, if you're not ready for the strength required to hold on. Either way, the realization to what is worth your energy, effort, aforementioned strength, and most importantly - t i m e - is key.
