😍😍 Sometimes adding greens to smoothies can taste like your mouth has collided with a grassy knoll.🤷🏼‍♀️ Especially if you use too much wheatgrass or spirulina powder...🤦🏼‍♀️ But if you use very ripe (black spot) bananas as a base you will most likely not notice them at all.🙅🏼‍♀️ In this bad boy👆 I used BOTH spirulina and wheatgrass powder but the potential double trouble became more like double the fun because of the color it provided.💚💙 The two powders combined with the frozen bananas created an antioxidant-rich powerhouse nicecream. Current fruit haul. 1 kilo of incredible mangosteen ($1.11), 1/2 kilo native Lanzones(64¢) lovely sweet and sour juicy flavor, 3 cebu mangos (25¢) and a half kilo avocado ($1.30) ate all the Lanzones 6 mangosteen and the avocado for my last meal today. Best avocado I ever had so buttery and creamy almost juicy. Had 2 kilos of durian, 2 coconuts and the Sugarcane juice earlier. Amazing day. Loving eating this way I feel incredible! Or Vegan Food is So Expensive!! Well if you’re eating a ton of mock meats and vegan ice cream...the yeah is very expensive! BUT if you’re eating majority Whole Foods Plant Based these foods can be the cheapest items at the grocery store and can be purchased in bulk! Rice. Beans. Potatoes. Frozen Veggies (just as good as fresh according to many studies). Pasta. Yes do I indulge in mock meats YES of course I do but I keep it at a minimum because it can get pricey. If I’m cooking on a budget I’m going to make a pasta with lentil sauce or a rice beans and veggies dish. These are easy hearty meals that can feed a family without breaking your wallet. I pride myself on showing you all how to make easy meals with minimal ingredients and only take about 30mins or less in the kitchen. No fancy gadgets needs or never heard of ingredients. These items are the cheapest items at the store. And I’ll add Frozen Veggies and Rice in the mix too! With these items you can make tons of different meals without repeating. Many of the items in this pic are my staple fridge and pantry items. I get many of these items every time I go grocery shopping. I can make $20 stretch at the store and have meals for a few DAYS. As a meat eater $20 was just enough food for MAYBE 2 days. Ground Meat was $5-$7 and that meat was only enough for one meal. Chicken can be almost 10 bucks and I stil had to get veggies and breakfast. I can go to the beans bulk bin and get a few pounds of beans for a few bucks. You can also find canned beans at Whole Foods for under $1. If you’ve been following me long enough you’ll know that the meals I make are cheap and require minimal ingredients. Healthy doesn’t mean hard. Threw together this quick and easy burrito bowl with brown rice, taco seasoned black beans, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, avocado, and topped with salsa. This is one everyone can do, don’t even need a recipe! 🥙
Yep...I Made This! ... #SwipeLeft Extra Firm Tofu. Frozen Carrots. Frozen Broccoli. Mushrooms. #Capellini Pasta. Broth: About 5 Cups of Water. Lots of Soy Sauce. About a half cup Sweet n Sour Sauce. Lemon Pepper. Garlic Powder. Turmeric.! How I Made It: I made the broth then added the tofu and veggies. I didn’t want the veggies to overcook and because they were frozen the hot broth thawed them out. Pasta was boiled in a separate pot. Added pasta to bowl then broth... Topped it with #Sriracha . DONE. Ate it with 🥢. Yep! More Tofu Info. Volume Up! This is the Trader Joe’s Extra Firm Tofu in the vacuum package. You’ll see there’s very minimal liquid and pressing isn’t required IMO! Oh and no finger were damaged or harmed in the making of this video! This steak knife was so dull but when ya don’t eat steaks ya just don’t care!! #SwipeLeft I didn’t drain this tofu or pat it dry with a towel. Coconut milk miso ramen with organic wheat noodles. Topped with kale, sweet potato, cilantro, green onion, grilled tofu marinated in coconut aminos, ginger and brocolli sprouts. 😋 There are two different dishes pictured. One with shredded sushi ginger and one without. Was so delicious and you get that 'clean' feeling after eating it. There is so much nutrition packed into a small bowl between the sprouts and kale especially. Is it a pancake/ crepe? Nope it is @cocobynuco cinnamon coconutwrap. This time I didn't slice up the banana but just rolled it up in the wrap together with some spinach and a little coconutsugar. Sit with the Father for a few minutes and seek His will for your life🍃Repent for the things you’ve done wrong, thank Him for everything He has done for you, pray for the people in your life, and seek wisdom for everything you are going to face today🌵 * Work out.  I do the same yoga DVD every day and I never get tired of it. Muesli is a great alternative to granola for people who want to avoid the sugar and salt added to most granolas. Alpen's muesli is delicious and has a lovely texture. I don’t like raisin so much but I eat this muesli before swimming or yoga practice so that I’ll not be super hangry after my exercise. I found Alpen muesli when I was teenager and this is one of my favorite breakfast for many years, so I’m glad I can still buy this in Sprounts( ^ω^ )I love add warm almond milk and banana into this muesli. I also love to mix this with another corn flake when I wanna eat sweeter breakfast. I cleaned up both my husband’s bathroom and mine today. I also clean up kitchen and living room completely.
