MY NO. 1 FANS
But I’m also their no. 1 fan too. They have never missed any of my talks or presentations I’ve ever done and they remind me on a daily basis to why I want to achieve so much out of life.
Yesterday was awesome day. To see how far we have as a company and as individuals was so amazing to see and it all started with a vision. It reminded me of when we first created our vision board. It was almost 6 years ago. People called us dreamers and laughed it off. We hit hurdles (and lots of them) but we never let it put us off. It’s strange, because when you are younger you are taught that you should be proud of having dreams, yet the world around you does not seem to be supportive of your dreams and it’s perfectly normal to be confused and lost. After all, you’re getting two different messages, and people tend to give up their dreams and carry out their lives normally. It’s the easier of the two messages, and everyone loves easy things. For the most part, opportunities don’t come wrapped up in a gift box. They rather come dressed in dirty overalls holding a shovel. In other words, life’s opportunities are often disguised as problems that require hard work.
Be grateful, be positive, takes some risks, grab opportunities with both hands and run with them, be nice to people, but most of all don’t listen to people who try and belittle your dreams. It’s never too late to dream, and you are always capable of making your dreams come true.
