A night in nature is so good for the soul! I took Nate for a hike to the Peach Cove Hut in Northland with some friends. We conquered all the steps (there are a LOT!), stared into the blue between the sea and the sky, went bouldering by the beach, talked to the forest, and slept to the sound of kiwis and moreporks in the hills around us ❤️🌿🙌
Shit doesn't get better than this 👶👨🌲🗻
Today was perfecto 😍😍 Did you get to enjoy the sunshine today??
Loved spending time outside today with some family. Gorgeous day, delicious food, lovely people. Kath and I even stole a few minutes down the trail to make it a hiking day, too. Sampson got to meet his dog cousin, Raven, and Talulah got to be loved on by aunties and Nana. Happy day!

Braved the 1.5 hr drive from Seattle to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival! Cassian loved all the bright colors, but don't worry fellow flower lovers, I didn't let her yank any flowers out 😏🌷#leaveonlyfootprints #butonthemainpathonly

“Just let go, and fall like a little waterfall” - Bob Ross
It’s not always easy to get out on the trail with little ones in tow. Especially alone. So, I’m grateful for organizations like @hikeitbaby
that cultivate communities and make it easier on mommas of little’s to enjoy the outdoors and share that love with those mini humans we bring along.
Slowly discovering and experiencing the trails Spokane has to offer! This is a pretty popular waterfall, and it was the perfect hike for the kiddos. 💚🙌🏼 Didn’t get a drawing in while I was out there but we will have all summer to create a system and make it possible while keeping the kiddos safe!
The best way to get kids outdoors is to take them there. If you're not going to let your kids run around the neighbourhood all day on a Saturday, start doing something yourself that involves getting outdoors. If you start to value nature, kids will too ... This goes for parents, teachers and all caregivers. - Scott Sampson
One peak down, 5 more to go! This hike was the hardest hike my husband and I have done. We were prepared for that. It feels good to have completed it! Took us a few hours though, but that’s ok. This hike really tested me physically and mentally. We clocked in 14.2 miles, not including the hike from and to our car which added a little over a mile. Now to rest and recover!

Fearless lil' babe and a force to be reckoned with. 💪👊👣💫 I love how children find so much joy in exploring. 😍🌱🌼
BPT: Before Potty Training. When life was carefree and easy. And our days were filled with sunshine, butterflies, and Huggies. Diapers, I am so sorry I ever took you for granted. 😩🚽💩
Getting some practice in while awaiting baby sister. The anticipation is real y’all.
