My constant 🖤 My Little Bee, you are joy; you are light; you are everything. *ps IG finally updated my profile so I can upload my images in original orientation instead of square, & I’m over the moon. Sooo much better.
Enjoying some sunshine ☀️ at the Farmer’s market today. She liked to sit all by herself and stuff her face with a cinnamon roll. It’s freshly baked so it’s healthy right 😉??
Daddy had to be in the city all afternoon for worship team practice, so we tagged along and took advantage of a paved trail/boardwalk 👍🏻. It’s +2 degrees, which is feeling pretty warm! Ha! #hikeitbaby

While sitting with my boys this morn, we were discussing what to do since there was no soccer game today.....what they said —“go hiking!” I must be doing something right! 😉
11/100 for @hiker_babes
My oldest son and I spent last weekend camping and hiking at Valley of Fire State Park in southern Nevada. It was beautiful and so much fun!!
Valley of Fire State Park was a climbing paradise for this kid. Everywhere we went there were little caves to explore and rocks to climb.

3 granola bars (all eaten by Mila), bushwhacking 6+ miles round trip, a few creek and spring crossings, a sketchy river crossing on a beaver dam. It was a good day. 👌🏻

is the best. We dont just walk through the mountains while hiking, we climb on the rocks and enjoy the outdoors. This is not a sponsored post lol but, Jet is so secured and never slips out . Living in the desert can be "boring" sometimes being a girl born and raised in socal. I mean there was everything but here, we can explore the outdoors like crazy theres so much to explore. I love the pocket it has in front.. Usually my phone goes in it, but as you can see in the last photo. Beef jerky was in it 🙌😂

I love that the weather was forecasting snow and rain and this is what our hike looked like today. It’s so interesting living in such a dramatically different climate than what I’m used to in the Northwest. Everything is so dry and also so dramatic. The oranges are so deep and the blues are brilliant. I’m loving seeing how in Oregon I’m mesmerized by the deep green moss on trees and the waterfalls. Here I love the rolling sandstone mountains and the prickly things everywhere. Then to find water in the desert is also amazing because you know how important it is to life. We take water so for granted in Oregon because it’s everywhere. Here a hike with water and deep canyons feels so different. I am excited to watch spring roll in and see how the landscape changes again. #exploringnature #adventure #hikingmyway #hikeitbaby
Got out on our 2nd “hike” of the 2018 yesterday. Never thought I’d be the mom to put her kid on a leash, but hey, it works great! 😆
