Nothing like relaxing by the ocean❤️😎
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” – Brené Brown

Checking out all of Wisconsin’s State Parks has allowed me to see an areas of the state I have yet to appreciate.
Spent the morning with this mama and her joey! The way she hops around with her little one in her pouch is the sweetest thing! (Swipe for up-close cuteness!) ❤️
Sometimes you just need to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life.
We find our peace and relaxation in the woods. It is there where we can enjoy the sounds of nature, and marvel at the night stars which shine brightly in the absence of city lights.
Where do you go to escape and reenergize?
~ Lanterns on a Country Lane Outside Gwangju, June 2, 2012 ~ On one of my first bus excursions out of the rather intimidating terminal in Busan (limited English), I travelled west for my only trip to Gwangju, Korea's 6th-largest city & site of an infamous 1980 massacre of students & civilians by the military during protests against the then-dictatorship. I got a local bus out of town to a rural historic site, then on a whim chose to walk back into the city without a map, a journey that lasted all afternoon & into the evening. Some lovely countryside & sweet memories.
Time to zip the pant legs back on and crack open a cold one with the boys. 🍂🍻 #HoodRatHiking
Atop Devil’s Bridge where I freaked out watching people sit on the edge of the bridge and was certain I was going to watch someone fall off. Hiking is fun, I swear I enjoy this stuff.
Utah just keeps getting prettier 💕

If there’s one thing I’ve learned since moving to Colorado, it’s the beauty of being vulnerable and the idea of getting comfortable being uncomfortable.
I’m still using google maps to go to the nearest grocery store, winter is fast approaching & I don’t know how to ski or snowboard and I sure as hell don’t know how to hike mountains...BUT I’m doing it anyway.
I’m being open. I’m letting go of my ego. I’m accepting that in most aspects of my life right now I’m a beginner and I’m falling in love with the process of learning/growing.
We tend to get so wrapped up in the monotony of our everyday lives that we end up doing the same things over and over again without even realizing it. Today, I challenge you to get out of your comfort zone and do something that makes you feel uncomfortable, no matter how big or small. Putting yourself out there is pretty f*cking terrifying, but the more vulnerable we are...the stronger we become ❤️🍃 #bevulnerable #expandyourhorizons #coloradoinstagram #unlikelyhikers

Grateful for friends like these. 🧡 I appreciate you both so much.
By the way, we made it in time for sunset to Glacier Point. Here's Half Dome in all their glory. Shortly after, we drove back home. What a wild 36 hours.
: *at 3pm* If we leave June Lake RIGHT NOW, we can make it to Glacier Point in Yosemite for sunset. Wanna go?
