This is me trying to be a model (nailed it! 😂). Kidding. On a side note, I’ve changed the name of this page from @thana4yyc
This page will focus primarily on my adventures while my @thana4yyc
will highlight my political endeavours! Would love for you to check out the page and follow along as we continue to inspire the residents of the Calgary-Mountain View riding by showing them that we CAN do politics differently by listening, working together, and by acting with integrity and not bashing others!! .
Guess you could say I’m addicted to waterfalls. They are my way of escaping reality plus I love the rush I get when I’m standing next to one!
It was my birthday yesterday! 🎈 we’re celebrating by road trippin! And I want to celebrate with you! So I’ve teamed up with @roamproducts
to giveaway any 2 items from their website to 2 people!! It’s too bad I’m not turning 22 or that would’ve been prefect 😂
Here’s how to win:
1. follow yours truly and @roamproducts
2. Like and tag 2 friends in separate comments
That’s it! Winner will be announced Tuesday! 2 days, 2 winners, 2 things, ends twosday! See what I did there 😏😜 and unlimited entrees! If you want to browse their website I’ve put it in my bio ❤️
“The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.”
We didn't send @thenorthface
of Chair Peak this weekend and that's okay. We did leave some gear for the next guys, but not my lucky blue nut and that's all that matters.
The last hike I would like to share is potato chip rock in Southern California! This one was an up hill climb the whole way! But the views were so worth it!! #happyhiking
After gaining almost 4,000 feet yesterday, I expected to find those same sweeping views that I'd found here so many times before. I spent nearly an hour waiting for more visibility before heading back down. Then things finally began to clear up as soon as I moved below the treeline. It felt like a stark reminder that the mountains don't owe us anything. Nature moves at its own speed, with or without us, and there will always be so much you can't capture with a photo. At the end of the day, it's about loving what you do, not loving the way it looks.
End of the line for this semester by Friday! Then I have to face the fact I've done massive amounts of nothing for Christmas 🤪
missing the warm weather and camping weekends
You feel the scale when you see a shadow casted in the distance of the entire mountain you are standing on.
Back country days with a sprinkle of snow in the air & some beautiful stormy light! I have to thank this lady for really helping me out in the back country recently when I had a broken foot; she carried my gear when I hiked to shoot sunset on my crutches. Thank you @my.naturally.chaotic.life
As we we were leaving our hike, something pulled me towards a side path, I had been there once before when it was completely frozen over. I knew it wouldn't be frozen enough to walk on and with my tired hunger toddler in tow I knew I couldn't explore for very long but I was so glad when I got there. This beauty left me in awe & wanting to go around the long way to see it up close.... Ill be back.

Let's not SKIRT this issue, it's time to adDRESS it // Are dresses sort of annoying? Sure. Are dresses in December cold? You bet. But here's the thing: human trafficking SHOULD be something that inconveniences us. My minor hiccups in a day because of my dress mean NOTHING in comparison to what 30 million people are going though on a daily basis. Human rights are being stripped from these people every single day. It's our job to do something about it. .
I have reached just over 25% of my goal. We are almost at $300, please help me get to $1000. This is the most worthy cause I could imagine. This is the life and death and exploitation of other human beings. They DESERVE better, we need to do better for them. Apathy is not cool, not caring is not okay. People deserve LIFE and CHOICES and a VOICE. Link's in my bio 👗
The cooler air has these waterfalls frosting over.. a beautiful area that never disappoints. #exploreokanagan
