Hasta la proxima vez, Peru!
What a trip, I will never forget it. I've challenged myself to do things I wasn't sure I could do and spent plenty of time in reflection, I've continued to improve and optimize my travel strategies, I've met many super awesome people from all over the world (a few of whom I'll stay in touch with) and I've immersed myself in the Peruvian culture of which I'm completely enamored. The people, the history (except that f'n colonization/Spanish takeover part), the food, the terrain, everything. Did I mention the FOOD? oh I did. Well it deserves an encore mention. I've walked, and walked, and walked, and walked - it's transportation, meditation, exercise and city tour all in one and hands down my favorite way to get around anywhere (60 miles this trip - I only took 3 cabs that weren't airport related). And it beats the shit out of Lima traffic.
Long story short I'm coming home with a happy heart, a peaceful yet determined mind, and the will to make measurable progress in a few specific areas of focus. Thanks for following along on this journey! If you've ever wanted to travel alone but aren't comfortable taking the leap, I have some trips coming up that we could do together, alone (I can explain) to get your feet wet!
