My final dinner in Milan at the Concept 45 lounge in the Hilton was a nice experience. Alberto, Giovani, and others there have made my evenings very enjoyable. For my last night, I bought the bottle - a nice white Ribolla Cialla grape wine from the Zuani family. The dinner began with a spaghetti sautéed with clams and roe. For the main a sea bass escalope with asparagus, clams, and saffron in a crisp wrap. For dessert, a mascarpone creamy brownie with caramelized yellow peaches and Bombay jelly. To finish, a delicious dessert wine by Passito di Pantelleria followed by a digestive laced with lemon rind and mint. I love it when the first sip or bite of something makes me smile reflexively. That occurred multiple times during this meal. Addio, Milano!
