FACT: I struggle with endings. I don’t often finish my favorite series, because I just cannot come to terms with there never being another episode (like I still have yet to see the final episode of “House,” because I can’t accept that it’s over). Gallery delivery days are so sad, as it kind of means the end of an experience, and is a pseudo goodbye.
So I was a whole hotbed of emotions as I read an email from Dr. Hahn, my thesis advisor, that stated the last three years of my life, my thesis for my Masters of Arts in Communications, has been sent to committee.
The end is in sight. And as much relief that will bring, it is a little bittersweet; it has been a tremendous process, one for which I am so thankful. I try to remind myself that as one chapter ends, another begins...so I am excited to see what comes next!
One thing for sure that’s coming up: An impromptu vacation to Philadelphia and Washington DC so I can defend this baby in person. That means a few more nights in this amazing @kimpton
property, the Monaco. I am also excited to see what DC’s @topazhotel
has to offer!
I’ve been there before, but I still must ask: What is your must do on any east coast adventure?
