Comfort food .
For most of my life I never used to cook, but that doesn’t mean I can’t cook. I’m alright with flavours and matching them to make food I love to eat.I’m great at making food my mom used to make, as I grew up knowing those flavours. But I love to cook and try other cuisines. I of course can’t come up with these classic recipes, so thank god for internet. There are amazing bloggers out there who have perfected these recipes. If you want to re create these recipes to match your lifestyle, I have one tip, pick a blogger who is from your country/region. You’ll be surprised how this makes your life easier. For starters you can find all ingredients! Also recipes they post suit the diet, seasons etc. After moving to Melbourne I had few not so successful attempts at online recipes, there were not tasty enough, easy enough to suit my busy schedule or simply just not right. Then on one of my random google searches I found the blog for @recipe_tin
and everything changed. I must have tried 90% of recipes Nagi posts there and most of them turned out amazing! Like the bolognese you see in the picture. They were such crowd pleasers! Easy to follow, easy to find all the ingredients and packed of flavour! Nagi if you are reading this, know that you are amazing, you are making my life so much easier. I’m such a fan. My partner too! Keep up the amazing work! X
