Aku mau bercerita tentang jalan-jalanku kemarin nih, teman. 😊. Sampai jumpa teman-teman baruku..kami pulang dulu. Baik-baik di sana ya.. 😉
A peek into our homeschool week. Confession. This week has been rough. We’ve been in revival at our church all week (yay!) which has meant late nights and rushed evenings. The Lord came down though and we had some amazing services. And then... Mom was hit with the stomach bug. Hard. So, the last two days very little school has happened.
However, today, Dad did step in some and experienced first hand how much fun Mr. Daniel is during school 😂 I think he has a new appreciation for my job 😜
Anyway, these pics include the oldest doing math with @teachingtextbooks she used a white board for all her problem solving and it lessens the paper mess 👏🏻
Mr. Daniel is showing off his excercise ball which keeps him moving while doing school. Perfect for #adhd and #fidgetykids
Kristen painted Neptune with @apologiaworld this photo doesn’t do the project justice. The crystals that appeared were gorgeous and she really enjoyed this project. Thankful for #handsonlearning experiences like this!
How has your week been?

Are you ready? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My biggest win in life came when I was single. I took the time to figure who I wanted to be and what I wanted my life to be like. Then I started making it happen. Today I am beyond blessed and I never take a day for granite. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have had many losses in my life over the years, but the one that was the hardest was losing my 2nd son. He was 14 months old when he died. I never have asked why this happened, because I know I will never find the answer here on earth. I just know that he is living in a way I could have never provided. This experience prepared me for many things: pain I never knew existed, faith vs. religion and to enjoy every moment while I have it.
What has been your biggest win or loss in life?

Current reads and a couple new books from the library. Really hoping this comic-strip style Shakespeare book will bounce me back from my failed attempts to introduce it the last couple years. 😅🤞🏼#childrensshakespeare

Happy Friday! I found this amazing art and science magazine at the library. Loving the content inside. Interesting articles and cute illustrations. This morning over breakfast I read part of The Space Travelers issue to my kids. Both enjoyed it. Izzy could definitely read it on her own but she still enjoys being read to.

While the paint was drying on our leprechaun trap, Dallas started on making our St. Patty’s Eve meal from this month’s Raddish Kids box ( @raddishkids ). I told him about how peeling vegetables was one of my favorite kitchen activities when I was a child. He really got into “making them naked” (😂), and remarked that the potatoes looked like “soft pillows” afterwards. On tonight’s menu: potato leek soup! 🍵
I’ve had so many feelings lately. I think its time to share why I started Luxemamma and my journey.
I am a young stay-at-home, mother of 3, a Doula, and craze person for natural wellness and holistic practices.
Practicing as a Doula made me realize that when women are expecting a baby, many people, including the mom, tend to only focus on the baby instead of the mother. From my own experience I gave everything to my kids and forgot about me. I used a bath scrub one day and literally the lightbulb went off. “This feels amazing” I was completely relaxed, my skin was smooth and I wondered why I haven’t done this before.
It was then I realized I may not be the only women who felt like this. Us moms need to have something to luxuriate ourselves with to bring us back to ourselves if you were like me and lost yourself.
In taking care of children we give so much and LuxeMamma was created for women to give back to themselves.
I took some time off after the birth of my third child in April 2017. I slacked off a bit, but now I am ready to get it back going. I thank you all for your support, your following, your likes and loves.
Please share this post with every and any mom you may know who could use some encouragement and self-care. 💜 Charissa
Happy Friday, my friends💛!
💛Today we went on an adventure to the busy library. We are so use to going and having it almost entirely to ourselves, so seeing other kids on their March break was quite a shock! Nevertheless, they found building blocks and created many cool buildings. One that was fashioned like Jesus' home! •
💛We are able to appreciate things a lot more clearer lately, even the smallest things. We went to the dollar store, and we bought new stuffies and army tanks. The kids are so grateful over the little things. They respected the cashier and paid for their own items, as well as wishing the man a Happy Easter.
💛When we arrived home, they went outside and played "Lego movie". They climbed, yelled, laughed and fell. This Friday is so beautiful and i'm so grateful to God for these gifts. The little things are most important.
💛I hope you all have a beautiful day full of many blessings and laughter. Praises to the Highest for all that we are given!

17ish years ago I found the man I would get to spend forever with. To say I was clueless of what my future would hold is an understatement.
I had a French Degree and a big fat student loan bill to offer as my wedding gift. I worked odd jobs until we had our first child and then decided to stay home. The student debt carried though our first few blissful years of marriage😀
When baby#3 came, I worked hard to manage our finances. I clipped coupons and skipped showers (kidding on the showers). But ,I really did try hard to crack away at the debt. It was going slower than I liked.
I started thinking of ways that I could contribute to our family finances without losing that time with my family. It became a daily prayer that I would find the right fit for our family.
Not to sound totally cheesy, but it really was crazy how out of my prayers and passions I found the perfect fit. My friend approached me with these home workout DVD's and because I had just had a baby and little time to go to a gym, I agreed to try it.
They worked! I mean, I had to actually do the workouts but I got amazing results! My friend started to share how I could help others have success with the fitness programs and start to earn an income.
So to break it down... I get to work on my own health and fitness and feel better but I also get to inspire others and help them do the same... and I get compensated for it?
There was nothing to lose (except the baby weight and bad attitude I had from not working out regularly). That was 7 years ago! And I'm still here! But not only am I still here, I now have 5 kids and just took on homeschooling!
So yes, you can do this even with kids and a busy schedule. And no, I'm not buried in my phone all of the time.
Here's my point... I want to empower more women with the opportunity I was given. I'll be forever grateful to my friend for asking me and I'd be doing a disservice not to help others do the same. I'd like to invite you to an online group that I host on FB. It’s one day- at your convenience and tells you exactly what it means to be a coach. I’d love for you to join us! DM me & I’ll be in touch❤️
