Yesterday wasn't just the first day of Fall, but it was also the first day of @Stonemountainpark
Pumpkin Festival and the first ever #Glowbynight
We spent the afternoon and into the night exploring the park Fall festivities even though the weather here in Atlanta is still pushing 90 degrees! You can still have all the fun you normally have at Stone Mountain during the day and then see the park lit up once the sun sets.
From pie eating contest, a 3D glow party, games, stories with Mother Goose, a flashlight tour of Dinosaur Explore and a Halloween train will keep you occupied until the the night ends with a parade.
This is definitely family-friendly and a lot of the activities are geared towards younger children. Our favorite activities for #glowbynight
was the flashlight tour and the pie eating contest.
Stone Mountains #PumpkinFestival
runs now until October 28th (Fridays-Sundays)
