Yesterday, Mariano Rivera became the first ever @mlb
player to be unanimously inducted into the @baseballhall
(MLB Hall of Fame). Aside from being an amazing baseball player, he is, hands-down, one of the kindest, most gentle and generous souls I have ever encountered. Among the awesome memories I have, I will never forget the morning that he and David Robertson could have easily, and justifiably, slept in like the rest of their teammates, but chose, instead, to come down and have breakfast for 45 minutes with a few sick kids that were brought over from Chai Lifeline Canada.
It comes as no surprise to me that he is the first player to unanimously be voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Congrats to a #Legend
of a human being!
It is easy to get swept away by the dramatic news about the government shut down, but I have seen that it is bringing people together and bringing out the goodness of what it means to be in a society… We are not made by our institutions; they are made by us. And when they fail, it is not our job to follow suit… Rather, to rise up and be better than ever.
As all things exist in potentiality, either inside the realm of creation eternally, or outside of existence eternally. This is infinity, Unity. This is what we are. One energy, one source, but with "frequency". Identity. All is vibratory. #raiseyourvibration #unity #humanity #love #serviceaboveself
Augmented reality, virtual reality and online experiences will shape the way the next generation live. There is no doubt.
When we can create the world on a computer and then carry out our lives away from more traditional constraints, we have to ensure that what makes us human prevails.
Otherwise, our children will be lost, and the lines between what we know to be real and what we create with technology will be too blurry to navigate.

"Crepes have always been a part of our family. When I was a child, my mother would always take us to get crepes. When I had children of my own, I continued the tradition. A few Christmas's back, my husband surprised me with a crepe maker, and I enjoyed it so much I decided to start Gigi's Crepes in the market. The best part of crepes and running Gigi's for me is the family time. My husband and daughter's have all helped me run the stand. I do most of the cooking, though my husband has gotten very good. The name also comes from that family bond as it is named after my mother, my daughters' grandmother who they call Gigi. For us, crepes are about family, and I want to share that with others at the Central Market." -Tracey, Gigi's Crepes.

At the "Mission d'Oracle Fa Church" in Benin's Republic greeted by the African traditional religion healer Mr. Ijo Orunmila Adulawo.
African traditional religions find their roots in animism, linked to the principles of nature, which has respect for the rules of spirits guide its daily mission. These traditions are passed orally through generations rather than with scriptural testaments. The belief of a supreme creator, the use of magic and traditional medicines are the strongholds of this religious system.
“God dwells within.” - everyday we are tested on our morality, our compassion, and our individual willingness to support and help others. My professor father has his own way of speaking of all this on a daily basis- he calls it “finding the true virtue of religion.” He teaches graduate classes and required general studies. I’ve been taught those Bulls and Bears my whole life. My other father calls it, “go where the love is.” - My mother fights for her rights as a woman and is my constant support system. We are all just learning to love again. Now, I’m off to try and save the world. Karma will always find you. We need to protect our brothers and sisters, boys and girls from sexual predators.
Sexual abuse leaves a lasting impression in the mind of it's victim. It's torture. Its a serious issue!
