Kids here love getting their photo taken and seeing their images. It just something they don't get to see often. So I love taking and sharing with them. This little fellow I saw in the distance. He had a curiosity about me but wouldn't come near me. I kept wondering what he was thinking. I would take photos of other kids and I could tell he wanted a photo to see himself as well but he just didn't have the courage to approach me. I kept trying and trying to talk to him, attempted to "bonga" (fist bump) but he would not have it. Finally, after visiting with a family there I was about to leave and this little guy ran up to me and smiled. I knew what he wanted. I took a photo of him (not this one) and showed him. He lit up and smiled! I then shot this photo (and showed him). He was so happy. And I was too. I was so glad he overcame his nerves. I didn't catch your name buddy but I pray that you learn to overcome your fears in life like you did this day. I pray that you grow up to be a leader!
