Find something in life that beats an anthem in your heart. Whatever it is. For me, this is it. Crisp, clear days in the mountains with my love and best friend. __________________________________________________

Those layers in the back tho. 😮
I didn’t think a photo could portray how much fun riding an 8-wheel drive Argo vehicle through New Zealand is...so here’s a video🤘🏼🙌🏼Shot on @gopro
M A G I C A L 🦄✨ Missing these NYC morning views. ☀️ I’ve recently started incorporating a pretty simple but effective morning routine, starting at either 5:30-6am to prepare myself for the day and get my head in the right space. 🔮 Starting with a gratitude practice, then 10 minutes of yoga for back pain, followed by reading my goals for the month and future...ending with a 5 minute meditation. 🌸 It has been working WONDERS! I’m truly obsessed, and notice a difference in how my body and mind feel throughout the day. What’s your morning routine? 👇🏻💕

Couple of fun ones to kick off the weekend!
I finally made it to this lake to see the bubbles!! I was up in the Canadian Rockies for 6 days exploring and adventuring and doing what we could in the inclement weather. We even got snowed in our lodge!! This was day 3 I believe and I took this selfie sitting on a #LUMECUBE
to light up the ice... the bubble formations are quite fascinating; who else has been here??

I’ve visited this waterfall more times than any other waterfall in Tennessee, yet I’ve come away with so few pictures from this spot. It’s an incredible place, especially in the summertime when you can swim underneath the falls. That’s one of my favorite experiences — submerged in cold water and looking straight up at the massive falls and towering rocks. It’s an experience that makes you feel small, but I had never been able to capture that feeling with a camera.
I went out the other day in search of a fresh perspective to give this waterfall some scale. After an adventurous journey, I found this angle and came away with a photo that at least begins to do this awe-inspiring place some justice! I think sometimes we have to treat our lives the same — search until we find the right perspective, one that makes us happy & grateful. By the way, if you’re reading this it means you’re alive — what a gift! Let your life make you smile 😁
Thank you @kalebeastphoto

🍂 As the Winter Soltice draws nearer and the days get shorter, I often find myself in a state of reflection. It’s a great thing for your mental health to look back on the past few months, the past year or even the past five years and see how far you’ve come. Acknowledge the amazing memories you’ve made and even appreciate all the bad times - as you wouldn’t be where you are today without everything that has happened in the past.
🍁 Photography has been a life changer for me in the past year or so (without sounding cheesy) but I’ve had a lot of crap thrown at me this year and I’m often surprised by how well my mental state has been. Yeah I’ve had some really down days, but when I look back at all the photos I’ve been taking, all the amazing trips and memories I’m fortunate enough to capture through my camera, all the bad stuff becomes a lost memory and I am feeling eternally grateful for my friends, family and even myself. I don’t use Instagram as much anymore and to be honest the photos I post on here are more for myself than anyone else - I like to show myself how much I progress and I like to write long captions to remind myself of the best times.. I hope that some people on here also get joy out of these moments and I am really looking forward to this year coming to an end and seeing where my camera, the world and the adventures take me..
🌿 p.s. Mother Earth - can I please get something other than rain at the weekend so I can go out shooting? Thank you, love you!
Cold sunny days that trickle down the memories. ~~ I’m just going to be very real for a bit. It is difficult to work in any full time capacity and make it outside as much as I would like and feel like I need. When I come home it is dark, except one day when I work a half day. And on the days off there are all the daily tasks that need to get done. And i realize that it is wearing me down. I don’t feel like I am made for full time indoor work. I don’t think anyone really is, even if they can’t recognize it. I want to be outside moving around all day tomorrow, but there are other things that will need to get done. At least I will be able to see outside most of the time. Anyway, that’s it for today. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ #getmeoutside #idratherbeinnature #irbin #snow #exploremaine #explorethenortheast #wanderwell #whereidratherbe #womenwhowander #snowypath
There is a 26 mile trail that goes through these mountains that my husband and I have decided we are going to hike in the summer (without the kids.)
Last year our childless getaway was to Jackson WY which was awesome, but this year I’m looking to getaway from civilization, to really challenge myself, and to spend some quality time in my favorite mountains with my favorite person.🏔✨
Running though the snow in a field of pines is only one of a million things I’d RATHER be doing. But instead, I’ll be here, icing by back after a pregnancy chiropractic appointment, in an empty house, on a Friday night. But life is life is life and pregnancy in your mid-thirties ain’t for the weak of heart 😂 Anyone wanna toss out some good-vibe movie suggestions?
