Let me say that the SONG was picked by our very own Olivia Crosco!! Again Olivia went above and beyond to be creative and find the perfect song! Of course I had to use it after she suggested it! I had to think about it for a minute but it was perfect... it just fit!! Like last year Olivia On her own made a sign that said "We stand up for our troops"! It was a big hit! We got a standing ovation from the crowd!
Miss Olivia is an instructor, cheer assistant, and sister of the owner. She is 16 attends SHS "She is just as creative as the rest of us girls" So Thankful for my staff. Staff if you danced in the parade , you are getting a special on your timesheets! Way to support our "Beat Breast Cancer"!! Love you all! The students collected change and donated to Cindy's fund to support Breast Cancer this year. Thank you to everyone who helped or donated your time! #breastcancerawareness

Last night I picked up prints from the pics my bf took at my Pro Debut in Long Beach. I have never seen my stage photos in prints. This one made my eyes water. There is nothing particularly special about my body and I was between poses. But my face- it says everything I don’t have words for. I remember this moment on stage. It was right after I got called up in the 2nd callout. I was proud to be taking my place next to @fit_tif_pro
on the line. I flashed back to everything that should have kept me from getting there. It was at that moment I realized I was living the dream I had since I was 6 years old, and what all I had to overcome to make it happen. It was the light at the end of the tunnel shinning bright on my face. 8 years ago I was 220+ pounds and morbidly obese. I can’t blame it on having kids. That was all me. Since I got my pro card in July last year, I got divorced, sold my house, changed jobs (I’m a banker in my other life), moved after Harvey, almost lost my 13 year old dog and spent a small fortune to keep him alive, and had 2 major injuries; one of which was only 3 months prior and almost took me out for the year. The stars had to align just right for me to get on stage this year after already being away 15 months. I prayed for strength and a miracle after I broke my foot in June. I was literally at my breaking point. Cue my bf, commonly getting to be known as “Stache”. The night we met was 1 month to the date from when I broke my foot and I was still hobbling around in the Jesus sandal. Within minutes he was carrying me around the dance floor and eventually across the finish line of the longest and most taxing prep of my life. Naturally, he would bring his super camera and capture the moment on stage I realize it all. Ive held on to my favorite pair of bell bottoms from my early college days, roughly 12ish years ago, haven’t worn them since... holy smokes they still fit 🙌🏼 Just proof that lifting and muscles don’t make you big and bulky!! Who's ready to kickstart a new week? As it gets colder here I wanted to come on and talk about warming up and stretching! Both are VERY important and will keep you from pulling those muscles and of course you will get more flexible with time!🤗 I always take at least 5 to 10 minutes to warm up before I even go into my workout....in winter sometimes even 15 min. And then after my workout I try to always roll out my muscles and stretch out everything. Give it a try...it helps so much! 💓

Dancing has always let me express my emotions. Sad, happy, frustrated, whatever..let it out through dance not drugs or abuse or whatever people!! Find your safe place and go there!😊 Good Dancers are truthfully good actors too! Think about it! They must become that character through the dance!
