“Oh to be under the starry sky again. Let’s dance under the sky”
One of my photo sessions, these twins were adoreable😊
When I first started writing this blog, my middle "devil" daughter Savannah was the catalyst.
It was supposed to be a light-hearted laugh looking at the trials and tribulations of turning my back on my two-year-old only to turn back around and have ten smashed eggs on my bedroom carpet.
But over the past year, my life has changed so dramatically in ways that sometimes I have trouble articulating. In-turn so did my writing. I noticed instead of a week passing by and having a million ideas to put pen to paper, a month had gone by and I had nada.
I put it down to procrastinating and just general life getting in my way but soon two months went by and I still had no ideas. The wit that used to flow effortlessly in my words felt forced and fake.

My words had stripped me bare. To publish what I had written would be to bare my soul, the very thing that I had guarded so very closely my whole life.
My stomach knotted with the thought of someone reading my words and then clicking unlike because they were expecting a story of smashed eggs and a two-year-old who covered her newborn sister in green highlighter.
And then my ol' mate Regina George showed up....

I am exploring the beautiful Mossman Gorge, in the southeast corner of Daintree National Park. This land was populated by the Kuku Yalanji people. This is the Mossman River and apparently there is no crocodile here, so finally I can enjoy a safe swim 😄🙌🏻
