This mornings Service, at Currumbin Beach.✨ It’s a beautiful thing to see the thousands of people that gather together to commemorate the soldiers that sacrificed their lives, for the freedom that we have today! Lest we forget 🌹 #wewillrememberthem #ilovegoldcoast

At the going down of the sun ...
Thank you to all those who have served, both past and present, as without your sacrifice I would not be able to enjoy the safe and amazing country that I live in, and grew up in. You have my upmost respect to what you have done, and will do. Lest we forget. #anzacday #anzacday2018

ANZAC Day 2018. Lest We Forget.
To commemorate ANZAC day, the RAAF conducted fly pasts with 2 x F/A-18F Super Hornets over Currumbin and Surfers Paradise to coincide with their mid-morning services.

I'm still recovering from the early start 😂😴 but it was definitely worth the drive down to Currumbin for this morning's dawn service. It was incredibly sombre and moving as I stood with 1000s on the beach to pay tribute to the sacrifices of our ANZACs. 🇦🇺🌹🇳🇿 #lestweforget #wewillrememberthem #anzacspirit
A little action from this morning
The Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18F Super Hornets flypass over Gold Coast in support of Anzac Day 2018 commemoration.
As I was heading out of my door for dawn this morning I heard a noise, this big guy scared me half to death. At first I thought he was sitting on my garden bed resting (him and his family hang out on our property). Then I realised that he couldn't get up. The wonderful people at Wild Care Australia answered my 5am call for help. A lovely volunteer got out of bed to come and care for him and she was amazing. Unfortunately he had been hit by a car and had pretty bad head injuries and didn't make it. I had seen this guy grow up, his family first started coming onto our property when he was just poking out of his mum's pouch. I was pretty guttered but humble to be there for him right to the end, and so damn glad he thought our home was a good place to go when he was so sick. #feelinghumble #wildcareaustralia @wildcareaustralia
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. 🇦🇺🇳🇿
