march 20, 2018: i left work early, dropped everything, sat in the front row, and watched my favorite elphaba totally kill it for the third time. that would end up being the last time i would get to see laurel that go-around, and to say i’ve been thinking about her elphaba every single day for the last six months is not an understatement.
september 20, 2018: i left work early, dropped everything, sat in the front row, and watched my favorite elphaba totally kill it for the fourth time. i somehow knew the universe would bring laurel’s elphaba back into my life, and i’m so happy it happened tonight. i truly don’t have the words to describe how much her performance has touched my soul, and i feel truly grateful every time i get to experience it.
also, it’s not too often you get to see one of your faves be amazing as not one, but TWO leading ladies on broadway in two different shows in just five days. @laurelnyc
is one of the hardest working, inspiring, all around best humans i’ve ever met, and i couldn’t be more proud to know her and get to see her shine like the star she is 💚✨
