If your answer is “food, calories, body weight, and measurements”, it miiiight be time for you to start looking for a new coach. . . Why? Well for starters, your body can tell us WAY more than just body weight and measurements. - How’s your sleep? - Are workouts good? - What about recovery? - Hunger levels increasing/staying the same/or nonexistent? •IT MATTERS• . . - How’s digestion? - Do you wake up multiple times to go to the bathroom? - Ladies, hows your cycle? Painful? That matters too!! . . And then on the other hand, how are things on the mental side? - Do certain foods equal guilt in your mind? - How are the stress levels from work, relationships, etc? - Loving your body? Or would you struggle to tell me just one thing that you love about yourself? - Anxiety keeping you up at night? . . . ALL OF THIS MATTERS. All of this is important when it comes to becoming the best and healthiest version of yourself. When you stop working with your coach, there should be a HEALTHIER relationship with all foods, rather than guilt in eating certain things or “cheating”. . . You are not a burden and your coach should not make you feel as though you are. . . I am SO thankful I have been blessed with incredible coaches (@lauriechristineking @rachelraebarnette ..you need to follow them if you aren’t already 😉)❤️ - There have been times when they care more about me than I care about myself! . . 5️⃣ Reasons people fail to reach their fitness goals‼️ . If you tuned in last night we covered reason 4️⃣ - erratic workouts. . So onto number 3️⃣ STUBBORN MINDSET. 🤦🏽‍♂️ if you’ve ever workout with intentions to reach a goal, you have heard this at least ONCE. You cannot out train a bad diet‼️You are literally fighting you self and when you fight yourself you always always lose. . You don’t need some crazy no carb, high protein, only veggies, no fruit on days that start with T, fasting for 1 hour before eating 5 almonds, and you can’t drink your Venti triple shot pumpkin spice mocha skim organic latte, only smell it to keep the calories down diet ...🙇🏽‍♂️ . E-A-T NORMAL! Have balance, find healthy options and pick the better foods over the crap. Your body needs proteins, your body needs carbs (especially if you’re working out) and you need fats. Clean up and sanction your eating habits and you’ll get results. . ⚠️There is a second part to Stubborn mindset and that’s PATIENCE. You didn’t gain weight or get out of shape in an hour, a day, a week, a month. It took months or years. Truth Pill 💊 you are not going to get back in shape in a hour workout. It’s not gonna happen in a week or a month. Anything or any person that promises crazy results “fast” “quick” is going to give you a crash diet with unhealthy low calories;which you will lose weight but as soon as you stop that routine most of it is going to come back. Gain muscle... sorry but you can’t gain 2lbs of muscle in a week, building muscle is harder than losing fat. . So stop looking for the secret serum to instant results. Your favorite guru fitness people have trained for years to look the way they do (and some might have surgical advantages or amazing gens). 🤷🏽‍♂️ . You can get fit, healthy and reach your goal just be patient, workout consistently, challenge yourself and find a sustainable diet that works for you. 👍🏽💪🏽🍩
