Going back to stir frys again, here's a recipe for sesame chicken!
RECIPE: Sesame Chicken
Shaoxing wine (Chinese cooking wine)
Zhenjiang vinegar (black rice vinegar)
Green onions (chopped)
1. Cut chicken into small chunks. Mix with cornstarch, vegetable oil, salt, and egg.
2. Heat oil in a large wok or skillet. Add in the chicken and cook each side for 3~4min til brown and crispy. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
3. Heat more oil in wok and cook garlic and green onion. While they cook, mix together shaoxing wine, chicken stock, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and cornstarch.
4. Add the chicken back into the wok and then pour the sauce mixture in, cooking until the sauce thickens and sticks to the meat.
