Transformation Tuesday! When I first moved to Sacramento, I just finished grad school and passed my boards. I was stressed from studying, moving from the bay and starting my career. Looking back, I used to be ashamed of my body at my “start” but now I learned to love it because there is a time and place for everything. Although I was by no means at my “fittest” my priorities were on things beyond my aesthetics. I needed to focus on finishing school, passing my boards, starting my career. My “before” body is smart, studious, and ambitious After successfully completing my gym’s challenge, I wanted to push myself even further. I dedicated myself to a 13 week long bikini prep. I was working with kids during the day then practicing my posing in stripper heals and bikini by night 😂💁🏻‍♀️ body building taught me so much about discipline and pushing myself farther than I thought I could go. This body was lean and disciplined. My next challenge was to complete the Spartan trifecta. This included completing all three races within a calendar year calculating over 30 miles and 70 obstacles. I fell in love with the challenge of running and obstacles in Spartans and Tough Mudders and completed Tough Mudder X Regional. TMX is the worlds “toughest” mile testing over 10 new obstacles and including several workouts of box jumps, rope climbs, pull ups, sand bag cleans and dreaded burpees that tested my speed, agility and strength. This body was strong, powerful and a force to be reckoned with. To say I don’t like cardio is an understatement. So tell me why I thought running a marathon and a Ragnar would be a good idea? My coaches always say “if it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.” Well, if running 26+ miles at one given time or in the mountains of Tahoe at midnight with nothing but a head lamp and the fear of God that you will make it back to camp for your team doesn’t change you, nothing will 😂 This body was brave, persistent, had stamina and a team player! My current challenge for 2018 is to let my body rest & recover while finding a personal balance regaining my health. Fitness is a part of my life, not my whole life. This body is healthy, happy & balanced!
Buongiorno. Non so li da voi, ma qui a Roma si è messo un freddo assurdo, sta proprio arrivando l'inverno. Tra poco se comincia co felpe, cappotti, sciarpe, cappelli e chi più ne ha più ne metta. È sempre un periodo un po' strano questo, perché, anche se odio tremendamente il caldo, quando c'è questo passaggio dalle magloettine a maniche corte ai maglioni, me prende un po' a male. In particolare quest'anno che l'estate non me la sono proprio goduta, sarà un inverno molto molto lungo. Mi rasserena il fatto che tra qualche mese è Natale (ansia) ed io amo alla follia il Natale, non so perché sinceramente che tutti i miei natali hanno sempre fatto un po' cagare, fin da quando ero piccolo, però boh le luci, i colori, mi trasmettono pace e serenità. Quindi raga se anche voi siete tristi o nostalgici per l arrivo dell inverno, pensate al Natale e fateve vení l'ansia già da adesso dai, meglio ansia che tristezza! I’ve always wanted to try @aeropressph and I’ve only owned it for a week but I love it!! 😍🙌🏽 It’s really handy and quick and it’s actually so versatile as well. 👌🏽 You can make a filter but also an espresso or even a latte (not like I’ve tried, lol 😆) with it. While the coffee tastes a lot cleaner than French Press or even V60. Still playing around with timing and grams but I’m a fan! 🙋🏼‍♀️🖤
Run. That’s what we do all our lives. Run after things that we desire. Then we run away from them because it gets boring. We run from situations that we don’t want to deal with. We run towards a future that we idealize. But that’s the thing, nothing is ideal in this gigantic, messed up world of ours. Infact, everything is far from it. But a minute fraction of our species, the gifted ones, sees this twisted world, as the safest and the most ideal haven we will ever have. They don’t run after anything. They don’t need to, because their “ideal world” already exists, right where they are. That makes them happy. Happines or for some, Peace, is what we all are running after. But that is itself ironical. Running only leads to exhaustion of mind, body and soul. Whereas, Peace can only be felt if you stand at one place, close your eyes and your lips invite a smile on its own. That’s how you know true happiness. So maybe, if we all stop running for a while, stand at one place and look around, we might find our not so “ideal world” as our safest haven too. But will we stop running? 🤷🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

🇫🇷🇬🇧Pancake-pie Poires & Figues & Homemade plantbased protein Nutbutter . Une tarte à la poêle ? 😵♥ . 📊 382kcal / 62G / 6,4L / 15,2P . Recette : . - 40g de farine d'avoine ou de blé - 10g farine de coco - 50g de compote de pommes - 1 CAC de levure - 1 œuf - 1 blanc d'oeuf - 1/2 cac de cannelle - 1 poire - 1 figue sèche ou fraîche . . Tout mélanger sauf les fruits, graisser et chauffer une poêle, et verser les 3/4 de la pâte. Laisser cuire 2 min à feu doux. Ajouter les fruits coupés et le reste de la pâte autour. Couvrir et laisser cuire 10 min à feu tout doux. Rajouter un filet de miel et servir avec PLEIIIN de protein Nutbutter pour finir les macros 😍 . (PS : pour le Protein Nutbutter, -30g de noix mélangées -15g de protéines vegan -15g d'huile de coco Tu mixes les noix, tu ajoutes l'huile puis la poudre de protéines. Si ton mixer n'est pas assez puissant ou si tu veux faire une version allégée ajoute un peu d'eau mais ça ne se conservera pas longtemps au frigo) . . ........... . . 🇬🇧 Pancake pie . Recipe: - 40g oat flour - 50g stewed apple - 1 tsp baking powder - 1 egg - 1 egg white - 1/2 tsp of cinnamon - 1 pear - 1 fig . Mix every ingredients except fruits. Heat a pan, shed 3/4 of the batter in the pan. Cook 2 min. Add the chopped fruits and the resting batter. Cover and cook 10min. Serve with honey and protein nut butter, whose recipe is : -30g nuts -15g vegan protein -15g coconut oil . Mix nuts, add oil and proteins. -BAKED BLUEBERRY CHOCOLATE OATMEAL- _______________________ Moinsen #fitfam ✌ Gott sei Dank hab ich neulich wieder das #bakedoatmeal für mich entdeckt - geiles Zeug! 😍 Viel zu lange vernachlässigt! ☝️ Und gut dass ich durch die #kakaosisters Challenge von @meleiniskitchen und @ofengemuese zusammen mit @koawach dazu animiert wurde mal wieder eines in der Schoko Variante zu kreieren! 🍫 Schließlich will ich es mir nicht entgehen lassen wenn zwei so tolle Kakao Schwestern ne Party schmeißen! 🍫🎉 Ab geht's zum Rezept.... _______________________ 1.) 1 Banane klein schneiden, zerdrücken und mit 70g zarten Haferflocken @suessundclever , 10g Chiasamen @suessundclever , 20g Schoko Whey @atlassmartsnacks , etwas Zimt, 1 Tl Weinstein Backpulver @suessundclever , 5g Kakao und 200-250ml Wasser (wer will natürlich auch Milch) verrühren. 2.) 10-15 Min quellen lassen. 50g Heidelbeeren unterheben und in eine kleine, ofenfeste Form geben. Jetzt nur noch ca. 20-25 Minuten bei 180 Grad backen. Маша мой главный диетолог👩‍🍳 Даже если ты опытный спортсмен,тебе все равно нужен контроль со стороны,так как в определенные моменты ты не можешь судить о себе объективно. Постом ранее писал об этом☝️ Знаете,я возможно никогда уже не найду человека,которому смогу довериться в плане питания и подводке своего организма. Лично я считаю,что самое главное качество,которое меня цепляет при выборе специалиста это доверие и заинтересованность 👌 Не говорю сейчас о знания и компетентности. Это должно быть априори. А вот если вы видите что человеку становиться похрену на вас,то бегите от него. Тем более если речь идёт о подготовке. Это более серьезный процесс. Особенно последние 2 недели,когда нужно контролировать каждый шаг и вообще в идеале быть рядом 👌 Я знаю тренеров,которые вообще в этот период могут загаситься и не отвечать на вопросы,не выходить на связь 😁 Забавно так. Им платят деньги за их работу,а они кладут болт🤷 Кароч ребятишки. You know you're #grammer when you give zero f*cks if there's people around during your flex session😂 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Bulking has definitely done the trick as I keep hitting PRs weekly! 🤩✨ After struggling for three months, I FINALLY pulled 100kg deadlifts for two reps. Till yesterday I've only lifted the second rep for 5cm before it has dropped back down🙄 Such a stubborn lift. So, today I want to remind you that you need fuel for results. Don't be afraid of calories if your goal is to grow muscle mass or get stronger💪🏼🔥
Today's workout was hard but I showed up and got it done regardless. Tired from the 8 hours of power walking with all my gear on at work, still sore from the leg workout 4 days ago, running on 4 hours of sleep a night lately... Life will get rough at times. Cauliflower ceviche! 😍 I used the recipe in @rawvana ’s ebook, but used red onion instead of cucumber because I didn’t have a cucumber and just really love onions. Super delicious!
