Today has been hectic, I ate my lunch over 10 minute wait intervals, but when I got home, I was still excited to chat with my team. I did it post dog walk with my hair a mess and the first 15 minutes I was cooking dinner. .
I don’t spend a lot of time working on this business. .
Usually about 1-2 hours daily, including my workouts, which I consider a part of this job. If I don’t show up for myself daily, nobody will trust me to show up for them. .
But on Tuesday nights we have team calls. Sometimes we have guest speakers, sometimes we have calls devoted to a single topic, but nights like tonight we get together and we just chat. We chat about how to mould our approach to coaching to best help our customers & new coaches. .
We transform our minds as well as our bodies. .

Today, in the midst of a day full of body image issues, I was thinking about this thought pattern I used to hold inside. Why did I believe this?
I held onto it for so long believing that I could never measure up and that “if I was just thin” I wouldn’t have the problems that I did. It’s the same thing as thinking people with a lot of money live worry free.
Healthy doesn’t mean thin or a 6 pack or 18% BF. It doesn’t look like a size 2 or an XS. Health is an individual thing and there is no one person who is the defining image of it.
This season of my life is filled with making peace with my body - exploration of her strength - giving myself ample fuel to perform as an athlete (and making peace with this too) - swimming in gratitude over what my body allows me to do and the things it will allow me to do in the future. .
This body image and self love thing isn’t easy. Wouldn’t you say? .
