Today was a long day, started early and ended kind of late for me. Today was the first day back to school from winter break. I had three classes and worked a 4 hour lunch shift, and still managed to squeeze in a workout today. Today I'm gonna be real and say that my breakfast wasn't ideal for what I'm trying to do with my fitness, but I want to be real and honest. I'm not a perfect human, I definitely miss workouts and eat food that my body doesn't like. It's all about the process.
This morning I started off with a protein shake, and breakfast pizza (weird combo, not ideal, still delicious. I regret nothing), then had a coffee, for my lunch I had a Greek yogurt, tomatoes, cut up cucumbers, and some pineapple. After my lunch shift, I was still hungry and still had two classes and a workout to go. I had another coffee, a hummus and veggie pack, a gluten free granola bar, and before my run an apple.
My water intake since Friday hasn't honestly been great, but like I said, this journey and creating healthy habits is a process.
Beyond food and my class, my run tonight was honestly great and I felt full of energy and motivated while doing it. From last time, I increased my distance about .23 of a mile--which doesn't seem like a lot but I'm trying to push myself to do my best and try my hardest. I also wanted to point out that since starting this fitness journey, I've been journaling my workouts and feelings to keep track of my mood levels, my energy levels, and to document what I've been doing and what's been working for me.
Today I've walked 12,305 steps from 8 am to now!
