Seems like every trip to Pioneertown is a day too soon.
Can’t believe it’s been over a year since I last made prints out of my photography! I am absolutely in love with these!✨
These photographs are just a few out of the hundreds I took over the past year. Some of these locations include @joshuatreenps
, and Trona Pinnacles. These places are busy with tourists during the day but at night you can have it all to yourself. (Just be careful and respectful of Mother Nature). ✨🌌🌵📷💕
FunFact: The photos are laid out on a Yosemite National Park blanket. The iconic viewing spot depicted on the blanket is also in the set of photos 😊
Last light on desolation.
We love the idea that this wild and alien landscape around us can become a literal part of the work we create as well. Join us on June 9th at #thejoshuatreecasita
for a full day workshop with @stellamariabaer
creating paint pigments from our surrounding desert environment: sands and cacti. (Link to the workshop is in our bio) 🌵💫
We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again- to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more.

We found this little guy last weekend while cleaning up the grounds. Isn’t he the cutest?
We must go back to @joshuatreenps
its calling to me. Soon, we will return.
HGTV has made me believe I can turn this abandoned home in Joshua Tree into the next great Airbnb. Also, thought this was a fitting post for #stpatricksday
New moon ritual: a new playlist to listen to while setting intentions for a new cycle of dreams and goals.🌚 ✨ This month’s curation by @chase.mcbride
Kelly McFarling’s music is reflective of transitions, wilderness, and its navigation. It’s beautiful. Take a listen while you gaze at the stars tonight. (link in our profile) 💫 #newmoonplaylist
Cactus announcement 📣 Blooms always begin in the lower, warmer elevations like Palm Springs, so going to PS can almost be like skipping forward in time. What I’m trying to say here is that I’m in Palm Springs, and saw a purple prickly pear starting to bloom!! I didn’t get a good photo, so here’s this one instead. But the real point is: it’s happening guys! 🌵💜 #jthwanders
3 Days straight of camping and climbing adventure... it’s always hard to say goodbye to the J Tree. ⛺️✌🏻🧗🏻♂️
I've got plenty of pictures of my explorations. As you can see, we document these well. I take it as a form of art and expression of which I love to share with you all. I hope you appreciate it. Here I am pictured near Ryan Ranch in Joshua Tree NP, October 2017.
“I want to run
I want to hide
I want to tear down the walls
That hold me inside
I want to reach out
And touch the flame
Where the streets have no name.”
Stuck in traffic... again!
I just love it when I dig into my archive and I find some treasured photographs.
Have you guys ever participated in #the100dayproject
? It’s a wonderfully simple concept: to create something, everyday, for 100 days. I (Sara) have done it twice before, and have found it to be such an incredible reminder and excuse to create for myself. I was recently honored to do an interview with @elleluna
for their #100dayproject
podcast while looking out to this view. (link in our stories!)
My bed for the next three days in Joshua Tree. Looking forward to doing some climbing and testing new gear. The #CampLife
Farah the dog, with the springtime blooms of the desert 🌸🌵
I'm hoping that the spring blooms in Joshua Tree this year are plentiful. 🌵🌸
One of my favorite places that I have ever visited on the planet ❤ I have a deep appreciation for the desert.
This was Spring of 2017 in Joshua Tree NP. I'm looking forward to visiting this spring. Its really pretty here around this time of year. 🌸

A playground of rocks. Scrambling around the arch rock in Joshua Tree. #simply_travel
Looks like another fun Saturday of desert exploring! ⛏🌞🌵
Joshua Tree was such a majestical place that I’m not through exploring. Thanks @iammikedixon
for sharing this with me, being my tour guide and my entertainment. #ilovejoshuatree
