"Nobody has ever measured, not even the poets, how much the heart can hold...To put things in proportion, the second largest thing to measure after would be the size of the universe." - Zelda to F. Scott ✨ I have been and always will be a fan of love notes. Whether Fitzgerald style, or a sticky note in the lunch box. There's no better way to say I love you than with words on paper 💕

This is the best time of year to experience spring in the Gorge and winter on the Mt. Hood all in one day. That’s right, more snow in the forecast means more skiing/snowboarding/name-some-other-snow-activities fun! 📸: @paulinthewilderness

#tbt April of 2016, we first arrived in Oregon from Florida. A day that I will never forget. To be honest, I shed tears I was so damn happy to be in the PNW, especially in Oregon with my family. We have had the chance to explore so much of the state in that short time, but we have so many more family adventures to take. Sisters Oregon has been an amazing place to us and the community here is like no other community we have experienced before, but one thing we don’t agree on here is the cost of living! It is beyond ridiculous here. We refuse to live that hamster wheel of life.
This afternoon we pick up our Lazy Daze RV and come October we will be on the road full-time exploring the PNW. Some don’t agree with our decision and some think it’s absolutely amazing but either way it’s our life and this was a family decision that all of us are highly excited for. We may find a home and land that we want to purchase within a year or we may just continue on full-time, in the meantime we will be going with the flow, taking many adventures together and enjoying our time as a family. So cheers to new adventures ahead and I hope to see a lot of you while we are on our travels.✌🏼♥️
When we were kids, it drove me insane that each year, for exactly 24 days, you and I were the same numerical age. Somehow...it doesn't bother me anymore. Happy Birthday to my Irish Twin and the center of our family. I love you and thank you for all you do.

The pathway to the edge of the falls was blocked off last time I was here but luckily you could still get a pretty good look 🏞️
We went to Benham Falls yesterday, and it took my breathe away 😍 #iloveoregon

The #cherryblossom bloom has started ... Hopefully the rain won't strip them all away before this weekend.

So I’m going through my pictures on #Instagram and it suddenly strikes me. Why don’t I just repost the best of the last 4 years? I mean I’ve been all over the world these last 4 years since I started with Instagram!!! Adventures, concerts, working in NYC, managing a great group of engineers and then on to my present adventure!! Why not just run back through it so people don’t have to look back through my posts!! Of course I’ll throw in some of the present venture here and there but I hope y’all enjoy the ride. And now, first elk hunt ever in CO, or was that a drinking session?🤠🤠🤠#history#throwbackeveryday#funwithpictures#fun#ilovemylife#iloveoregon#mustache#beard#beardgang#beardsofinstagram#lapine#lapineoregon
The hike paid off. Brilliant views of waterfalls and trees covered with moss. Deep in the woods, where you can immerse your soul, soak yourself in all that natural beauty. Oregon is so diverse. #beautifulOregon
