Revolved Crescent Lunge ~ Parivṛtta Aṅjaneyāsana

As a spiritual health rule, I never accept others answers as definitive. To those I see beautiful attributes, I'll ask questions and listen, but ultimately it's within my Being that determines an answer's resonance with me. It is SUCH a SACRED GIFT to go through life and come to our own conclusions of aligning truth. To not be skewed by an external source is how your inner power grows. This fuels for a healthy self-image, which we all are worthy of for our best life.
I believe this pose, Revolved Crescent Lunge, embodies these thoughts. To actively stand, balanced with inner alignment and revolve to question our surroundings. *Stretches: Side Body, Chest, Back
*Strengthens: Ankles, Legs, Thighs, Back, Balance
*Increases flexibility of Back/Spine
**AVOID if have ankle, knee, hip or back injury; hamstring or quad injury
*From Downward Facing Dog, exhale and step Left foot up between hands. *Rise to High Lunge *Hands in Prayer Pose at heart center
*Inhale. As Exhale, twist torso to left starting from navel, not shoulders or head (they rotate last)
*Keep Prayer Pose engaged by pressing towards the center of your chest
*Aim for shoulders to be parallel to side mat
*Aim for hip points to be parallel to front mat
*Catch back of right lower arm on front bent left thigh
*Eyes gaze past your left shoulder, unless you're a goob like me smiling at my dear friend who took the pic. *Press back heel towards ground
*Front bent knee NOT to go past big toe
*Tailbone slightly tucked in and drawn down
*Shoulders relaxed **Say "TAH-DAH!" when your torso feels like a twisty piece of licorice
*Stay for 3-10 breaths, then go back to Downdog to repeat on other side
I'm not hating, but being a non-institutionalized artist is one of my greatest joys. Painting solely from intuition and my mind's eye allows for a true reflection of inner processes, moods, feelings, innovation & personal evolution. Sometimes it's hit & miss, but i surely always learn something new. The satisfaction that comes from completing something that you know is truly yours gives you such a sense of accomplishment. I dub this process Experimental Art.
AJR will perform in your city and so you decided to wait for them outside their hotel. You want to make them smile, so you organized a proposal for Ryan. You took a little box with a ring inside it and you go to the hotel. There are a couple of fans too and you waited for 5 hours under the hotel and they finally show up. Despite their manager, who is trying to take them away, they're talking with you all, taking your hands and smiling softly. It's your turn to talk to them and with a huge smile and your face completely red you give to Ryan the little box, asking shyly:≪will you marry me?≫ he laughs cutely and he take the box. ≪but I'm supposed to ask you this!≫ he get down on his knees.
≪will YOU marry me?≫ you smile laughing and you nod your head. He puts you on the ring and he kisses your hand. The guys have to go now, they wave all of you and Ryan tosses a kiss in your direction.
It's 2.04 am and I'm not even tired.

Peter stumbled back and tried to cover his face.
You grunted as you pulled yourself up, "You know Parker, I've already seen your face, so covering it won't do much now."
He opened his mouth and licked his lips as he figured out what to say. "Its just- I mean- y/n, you CANNOT tell anyone."
You rubbed your head to try to rid yourself of the major headache you had, "you tazed me"
He cocked his head, "huh?"
"You tazed me jackass."
He walked back over to you, "I'm so sorry, I totally forgot about that, are you ok? Do you need anything? I probably should have left you back on earth, dammit I'm sorry y/n."
"Slow down Parker, slow down." You groaned. "Its okay. Now, where the hell are we?"
"Umm," he looked at the ground "the spaceship."
"Are you serious?! I had that! We could've been back on the ground in no time!"
"You were gonna hurt yourself" he mumbled
"I'm a superhero." He shrugged, "I can't let that happen"
You laughed sarcastically, "bullshit. Superheroes let normal people get hurt all the time."
"I- We-" "Can it Parker, let's figure out what to do."
You walked out, leaving Peter hurrying after you.
"So, um, y/n, what's up with you and your, uh, abilities?"
"Honestly, I don't know why or how, but I can control air, so don't ask any more questions."
"Oh Cool." He paused for a minute, "So like the force?"
"Like Star Wars? The force?"
"Sorry Parker, I don't know what you're talking about, I'm not a nerd."
You two walked quietly until you found a big open area. Another monster thing was standing by some glowy spear-things that were surrounding the wizard guy.
Peter tapped your shoulder, "it's Mr. Stark!"
You saw iron man out of the corner of your eye.
"Follow me!" Peter whispered.
You rolled your eyes as you walked after him.
Peter walked up to Tony Stark with you behind him.
"Hey Mr. Stark."
"Kid, what? What are you doing here? I thought I sent you back down to earth."
"Well I thought about going back" peter started, "but it was a long way down, and this suit is ridiculously intuitive so technically this is your fault."
"What?" Mr stark demanded

When I fall into the comparison trap it feels like a street fight in my head 😧 this can be so exhausting.
My first reaction is like a spasm of envy, then shame for putting my self under this pressure, it's an ugly feeling. Discouragement and lack of love and inspiration for yourself will follow.
I have now learned to be gentle with myself and aware when my thoughts like to take charge. It helps to dump your thoughts onto paper and figure out the thinking behind your negative reactions. 💞 I apply FORGIVNESS essential oil topically or diffuse in the space I'm in; then pause for a moment and journal. 🌷 Ask yourself: what triggers my self-doubt?
🌷 Am I comparing my beginning to someone else's end? 🌷 What am I afraid of? 🌷 Is this something I could achieve too? . . .
And would want to?
Write down your progress ands successes in a notebook - even if they are small.
