Cardio burns fat at low to moderate intensity. High intensity will burn more carbohydrates... more specifically the glycogen stored in your muscles and glucose stored in the blood.

You can actually train strength through cardio exercise such as sprints with limited rest. This trains power in your type 2 muscle fibers and depending on your rest period may train your aerobic and lactate threshold. Now there is a point that your body will begin to loose mass due to the nature of being an endurance athlete but most people don’t necessarily run into that problem. (Unless you’re training has you running at least 25 miles a week) DONT BE AFRAID OF CARDIO. Just don’t under eat and you shall be fine.😜
