**Long (anecdotal) Post Ahead** On my most recent work trip, my co-workers labeled me a hipster (I’ve been running from this label since 2008). I definitely quickly denied being one and continued to share all the “hipster” spots I wanted to hit up while in San Diego. But the reality is I guess I am kinda a hipster. Not huge on labels but besides my non-obsession with craft beer and The Bey (you can totally hate me), I love my birks, cardis, and v-necks. I pride myself in knowing obscure music and refuse to succumb to social norms (cough cough- The Bachelor). I complain about the millennials (as If they’re not my generation). I love Wes Anderson and Arrested Development. I love hipster coffee shops (I have a crazy dream to open said shop one day - but I also kinda want to be a doctor, so boundaries). This is where I discovered this pin. This coffee shop was the coziest/cutest spot in this adorable little neighborhood in San Diego. Like serving coffee out of a camper wasn’t hipster enough, they also sold bouquets of flowers (yep!! And if I didn’t have a black thumb - pun not intended 😂, I’d have purchased a bouquet and the pin!) 💎
Pins have been fascinating me for awhile but this was my first purchase and I’m so proud of it! And of course I needed to find the perfect spot for my newest collection - my winter sweater - grateful Arizona keeps the inside at sub zero temps! Thanks @communalcoffee
for the fantastic pin! Can’t wait to expand my collection (cue singing red-headed mermaid 🧜♀️)!
What is the newest thing you’ve purchased that has caused obsession status?
