These totally indulgent TRIPPLE CHOCOLATE FUDGE MUFFINS is so divine. I’ve just made them!! 😋
I used decaf coffee (because I made them for the kids school lunches, the kids do not need any extra stimulation!!) I followed the recipe exactly and it is 👌
I know there is sugar in this recipe but, I really appreciate the fact that we can make beautiful indulgent recipes for our kids knowing EXACTLY what is in them. It’s all the crap in many store bought packaged foods that do our bodies harm!

• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1/2 cup coffee strongly brewed (or decaf 😊)
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs
• 3/4 cup butter melted
• 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
• 1/2 cup milk chocolate chunks
NOTES : Swap flour for GF or spelt which will work.
: if you’d like to lessen the sugar simply substitute for your preference or leave it out all together.
: And, if you want to take out the coffee altogether, replace with 1/2 cup liquid.

I used to eat Chick-fil-A without restriction, at least a few times a week. I don’t love it any less but I put the once a week limit on it. The reality is even though it might be “healthier” compared to other fast food options, fried chicken is fried chicken. Im not interested in total restriction or unrestricted indulgence. It’s all about that balanced lifestyle ⚖️

For many dieters, they *totally* cut off all the indulging foods which are in general high in kcal, fats and sugars.
But this is risky, you see:
(1) When you eat those foods, you lose control and thought this ruined your whole plan. Then have them even more.
(2) You thought eating one piece of cookie would +10pounds overnight so you tire yourself up in the gym. You end up so tired, you cannot resist to have them even more.
(3) You bore yourself to death and soon give up the whole weightloss plan.
Let's admit everyone has cravings. A timely, moderately, controlled indulgence makes you stay in track longer and stabler.

> If known ahead, make tiny adjustments in other two meals - eat more vegs and fruits.
