“You know that if I follow any of this advice I’m probably going to get suspended right?”
Tony frowned. “What. You could get in trouble for that one?”
“You could get in trouble for any of those!” Peter exclaimed wildly, shaking his hands about. He ran a hand through his curly hair. “Look. Mr. Stark. I just need some advice. MJ’s not the type of girl that will fall for that sort of stuff. She’s,” Peter looked away as he shrugged, “different.” Tony clutched his heart. “Oh my god. The kid’s found his cupid.”
“She’s not my cupid,” Peter strained, moving past Tony and to the door frame of Tony’s bedroom. “I just need something that will impress her when I pick her up tonight.”
Tony tapped his lip several times, mulling things over before his mind settled upon an idea, and a grinch-like smile spread onto his face, and his expression made Peter’s eyes widen. He’d just made the worst decision of his life.
The amount of glasses Tony kept in his possession rivaled the amount of different colognes. Peter coughed at things being sprayed at his face, and Tony would study the smell, and with dissatisfaction, throw it back into the pile and fetch another one. The shoes Tony lent him were way too big, as well as the belt, and he tried on so many ties he could almost tie them all together and make a rope to escape down the side of the window. Almost. “And.. a final touch,” Tony said with an oddly feminine tone as he slipped a pair of wide framed glasses with gold lenses onto Peter’s head, and he squinted uncomfortably. Tony stepped back and dusted his hands off before settling them on his hips. “You look like a smaller, less handsome version of me.” He studied Peter a bit more, then nodded. “I love it,” he said, then he walked away. Peter didn’t even dare to look in the mirror.
His hands were sweating buckets as he knocked on MJ’s door, and Tony stood proudly behind him on the sidewalk; just as a chauffeur for tonight’s date should.
MJ opened the door and almost fell to the ground, cackling laughs filling Peter’s reddened ears. *continued in comments*
