I recently accompanied Rob to Fordham University of NYC and documented his process of teaching students how to ask interesting questions in order to find even more interesting answers, through innovative and creative brainstorming. Breaking the mold, so to speak.
Seeing how safety in schools (and lack thereof) is effecting our students ability to learn, let alone in extreme cases survive, Rob has taken this important and heated topic and has put his practices into a very practical and necessary application. If we're struggling to find the solution, perhaps it's time to shift from our patterns and look more creatively and openly. This is only the beginning of this topic, but the answers are out there, and working together I'm confident we can find them.
