I had to post another gingerbread picture because I just love how these little trees fit together in my tin. Decorating all the cookies took quite awhile, but they look so pretty and I'd even say elegant. Christmas goodies are just part of what makes this time of the year my favorite! Love playing with bundt cakes anytime I get the chance. I used a leaf tip (352)for the green leaves🌿 and with a small opening on a ziploc made the berries. Last but not least the snowy look comes from icing sugar. Sprinkle that just before serving. If you do it too early it will just disappear...😏

First up are a long-time classic of mine: Lemon-Glazed Madeleines. Now, before you roll your eyes at the idea of needing a specialty pan to make these, know that you can also make these in regular muffin pans 💡 Yes! I experimented with this hack earlier this year and it creates super cute, tiny round cakes. They even have that desirable hump on top! I recommend using parchment paper muffin cups to make unmolding and cleaning a snap. Decorate with store-bought candied lemon zest for an extra festive touch, or bag them to offer them as delightful gifts! 💛

Happy Tipsy Tuesday y’all ( I mean I was born in the South, so I can say that right?). So the sugar cookie, I have volumes to share on that topic, but not today! For now when you pull those sugar cookies out of the oven while they are still hot lightly brush them with a powdered sugar glaze. Usually 1 cup sifted powdered sugar with 2 Tlb. of water. This thin glaze with seal the cookie, leaving it with a bit of shine. You can still decorate with other frostings, but it’s like giving it a top coat that ups the game and taste 😋. Enjoy!
